    Best video on this subject however I prefer straight not slanted stitches as a Juki walking foot sews- might be a female point of view

      It is a matter of preference. Btw, slanted stitches have nothing to do with the brand of the sewing machine. It in fact also has nothing to do with the type of machine. Slanted stitches can be done on any sewing machine by using the special leather needles e.g LR needles. And straight stitches can be made using the normal point needles. It’s very interesting how just a tiny change of a slanted cut vs a hole can make a huge difference in how the stitches are laid out. 👍
