- I'm about to break $2 million on Upwork, and I know it's tough to get Upwork clients to respond. Your cover letter needs to be awesome, unique and engaging.
But not every Upwork proposal has to be all structured and polished - sometimes you can take a different approach.
I call it, being "just a little weird"
It's about being different. Standing out so that the client will reach out to YOU, over all others.
In a world where everyone thinks the right move is to just pop your Upwork cover letter into chatGPT to make it "better," there's value in being DIFFERENT.
And I can say that with about $2,000,000 worth of Upwork earnings experience at this point.
Being different... is GOOD.

Same problem I feel like a waisted all my connect because I sent many and no one even view to my proposal. Summary:
1. Ask great questions.
2. Keep it short and sweet. And try to get them on a call and explain further there.
3. "I'm ready when you are." Share few of your best works.
4. "Here's the scope of the work." Define your job clearly. Ask: What I need from you, What you can expect from me, Final delivery date, etc.
