VOX AC4TV Tube Amp mods by JC Maillet

My mods for single-ended tube amps, this time performed on the great sounding 4-watt VOX AC4TV (with 10" speaker). The "3am Dirt" Mod allows the user to dial in a great distortion tone at whisper quiet levels, it goes beyond the stock attenuation circuit and works more like a true power soak. The "lean" mod is useful when the amp is cranked and helps avoid flabbing out (excessive compression) on the low end.
