It would be very poetic if they chose to release the Nintendo Switch 2 on the 10 year anniversary of Satoru Iwata’s passing since the switch is Iwata’s baby in a sense.
July 0II falls on a Friday this year, and if you are at all familiar with Nintendo's Console Release History, every major console dating back to the Famicom has had its launch on either a Friday or a Weekend day, so your desire for Switch Second's release on this date has a Double Justification as a means to release it on an effective day when all the younger people are out of school and also to commemorate Iwata's physical retirement in the most effective of forms; this Upper Version of NX will pretty much be Iwata's true Swan Song, an optimization of what he might have originally envisioned for the console during its development, let's hope that Furukawa's team is smart enough to recognize this as it may be the most effective marketing we have seen thus far and if done correct really make it seem as if everybody can "Switch to Nintendo" proper.
But is it meant as a pre show, or a after show? Sometimes you can mess around after they are out, to see if you want to buy. But might be early july to time it at the start of a new fiscal quarter. But time will tell
The Switch 2 has officially been revealed along with a new Mario Kart game. Rumours say the console will have a 9 in the launch title and that could be Mario Kart 9. It could launch with 48 tracks and no crossover characters and get DLC packs, adding crossover characters and double up the tracks to 96. It’s weird that the Blue Falcon is in the series but Captain Falcon isn’t. So why don’t they come in form of the DLC? I want them to ditch the metal characters, Cat Peach, Tanooki Mario, Peachette, the Blooper Item and Coin Item, make the Koopalings alts for Bowser Jr., the baby characters alt’s for each other, Dry Bowser an alt for Bowser, bring the Fake Item Box, Mega Mushroom, Pow Block, Super Leaf and the Ice Flower back, add commentary as the Arcade GP series has it, bring Mission Mode back as it was supposed to return in Wii and add Professor E. Gadd since he was going to be in DS, and by holiday we could get Super Mario Journey or Odyssey 2, a new Star Fox game, a new Wario Ware game, considering a 2-year gap between Get It Together and Move It. By March 2026, we could get a new 3D Kirby game, possibly a sequel to Forgotten Land. We could get to see playable Elfilin and Clawroline for the first time and they could bring back the Dream Palace Allies as well. Halfway through 2026, we could get Splatoon 4 and Pikmin 5, considering a 3-year gap between Pikmin 3 Deluxe and Pikmin 4, by September, we could get a new Zelda game, considering a 2-year gap between Breath of the Wild, Link’s Awakening remake and Skyward Sword HD, and by the end of the year, we could get Super Smash Bros. Legends and hopefully they’ll ditch World of Light, bring Subspace Emissary back and update the movesets of some characters. We could get Super Mario Maker 3, Luigi’s Mansion 4, Super Mario Galaxy 3 and a successor to Super Mario Party Jamboree by 2027 as it’s been 5 years since we had Super Mario Maker 2 and Luigi’s Mansion 3. They could add a Mario Wonder game style to Super Mario Maker 3 so 3D World isn’t just the extra game style and they could bring the Amiibo costumes and the Weird Mushroom back, for Luigi’s Mansion 4, the game could be in an Airbnb and we might get to see Luigi save Daisy for the first time in the series and for the successor to Jamboree, everyone from the previous Mario Party entries could return like how everyone returned for Smash Ultimate. We could also get a new Fire Emblem game, considering a 4-year gap between Three Houses and Engage, and Xenoblade 4, considering a 5 year gap between 2 and 3. By 2028, we could get a new Paper Mario game, considering a 4-year gap between The Origami King and the TTYD remake. I hope the console sells well and has 4K and 60 FPS. It’ll probably release in June, and my birthday is in May, so I might get it with my birthday money.
Banking on Late June/Early July, Nintendo might try to take the opportunity of kids finishing school and having ample playtime, so it would be a good options for any parents to purchase a console around that time for their child to play or to play with others (joycons) which is close to Nintendo's motto.
It's happening again. Also get ready for the continuation. Then, I would guess the release window would be around May-July, but I am not ruling out October or November at the latest. Lastly, in the end Nintendo has the official release date information & their is nothing all of us can do until they release that information to everyone.
They are not going to have the direct end June 1st and not release it til September get real. They released switch OC two or three weeks after the last switch experience end! Witch means with last Switch 2 event being June 1st release either June 20th or June 27th.
Nah we will just wait for the real release date official announcement from Nintendo themselves this is just speculation plus we got a April Nintendo direct coming eventually
I guess it won't be released in time for my birthday at the end of May. Oh well, I guess I can always ask for a really big gift card I can use to buy the console and some of its games with.

One event of showing the Switch 2 will be in June, so it actually has to be in late June or July, I guess.

May-June
I'm not gonna wait til 2026 til the Switch 2 releases.
It better release in May.
That should give many of us plenty of time to save up money in order to afford the Switch 2 when it gets released.
I'd say November as that was the release month of the Nintendo Wii and Wii U.
More than likely it will be from June to September of 2025 due to the fact that Switch 2 demos will still be going on in June
I'm super excited for April 2nd! 😃
Same 🎉
