මේ මනස්කාන්ත ගීතය නිර්මාණය කිරීමේදී පණ්ඩිත් අමරදේවයන් Piya Milan Ko Jana (1939) නම් හිංදි ගීතයක ආභාෂය භාවිතාකර ඇතිබවට විශ්වාසයක් ඇත. එම ගීතයත් Pankhaj Mullick නම් සංගීතවේදියකු විසින් පදරචනයකර, තනුව හා සංගීතය නිර්මාණයකරමින් ඔහු විසින්ම ගායනාකරනලද මෙවැනිම නිර්මාණයකි.
නමුත් අමරදේවයන් එම හිංදි ගීතයේ ආභාෂය මිස එහි පූර්ණ අනුකරණයක් සිදුකොට නොමැත. එනිසා මෙම ශාන්ත මේ රෑ යාමේ ගීතය අනුකරණීය ගීතයක් ලෙස හැඳින්විය නොහැක.

FrPrasantha Amerasekera Miss Mallika ( not Kahawita) she was a student of Mr Amaradeva while he was teaching at Rahula Balika College, Malambe. This gramophone version recorded for HMV label in 1950 however maestro originally sung this in a students concert at University of Ceylon(Peradeniya) in 1948 and there his co singer for this was MrsThilokasundari Kariyawasam, then a student of University of Ceylon.
