Distortion now occurs at 2X the multiple of the signal frequency. It is not resolved. To lessen distortion again one needs to reduce resistance so that the third order non linearity of resistance values are less. This will increase charge injection which will occurs at the sampling frequency and can alias back to the signal bandwidth.
