At the end of the day, the only person who could destroy Gus was himself. That's what makes him one of the best antagonists to ever be created.

This is one of the best Breaking bad videos I've ever seen. It says a lot that this show can still be talked about 10+ years on and people like you can come along and make analysis videos like this.
I love how he literally has maps and is explaining everything to the level of detail that you would for a high quality documentary of real events! How many shows currently on TV have a developed enough plot that you are able to do this, seriously
@@pro-socialsociopath769The only ones that come to mind for me personally are Lord of the Rings and Star Wars. But those span across different mediums (media?) and have much bigger scopes, to be fair.
SOORANOS IS WAY BETTER ALWAYS WILL BE!!!
For revenge to be successful, it must be concealed, stealthy, and most of all, patient. Patience and vengeance wins.
he also likely never thought anything was enough, as everything had to be perfect for him due to his ocd
But the flaw is that revenge can only really work of the revengee knows who did it and why. That potentially exposes the revenger.
I do hope the fbi are aware of you
Hector reminds me too much of this mob boss from GTA IV. I forgot his name but I will check later.
@@MadaraUchiha-ly8wr Mikhail Faustin? He seems to be fit the criteria best due to their impatience and hot-headedness
Machiavelli never actually said you can't be feared and loved. He just said if you had to pick one or the other you pick feared. But you also never want to be hated. It's better to be loved than hated
In fact, the quote literally is, "It is better to be feared than loved, if one cannot achieve both."
My favorite quote of that guy, paraphrased, goes something like "Should we feel bad about using dishonest, immoral, and even bad tactics against our enemies and opponents? The answer is, if men were good and just, it would be morally wrong to use bad tactics against good and righteous men. But men are not good, they are bad, and since men are bad, and do not do right unless they are forced to, and at all other times they do wrong, we should have no hesitation treating bad people with bad tactics."
No, not loved- respected.
Be feared if you cannot be respected. Love is not even a factor.
@@tatianalyulkin410 it can be an interpretation, but the quote does say "love".
The editing in this is fkn superb. I really love this format. You totally nailed it. Literally one of the best Breaking Bad character analysis videos I've ever seen.
It's Lemmino's format
Bro i can't imagine the amount of work and focus required to create such videos 🥺❤
Lovely stuff, Gus is one of the most fascinating characters in TV history.
Same
@@Zygothdarkknightyoure of the most fascinating characters in tv history?
You have to do Lalo Salamanca in the near future next
Amen!!
The Vile Eye made a video about him just recently.
Jorge De Guzman is an innocent man.
Speaking of that, I'm still waiting for my Nino Brown analysis video.
@@Grenadier311Whose that?
The character of Jaun Bolsa was named after NY mob boss Johnny Sack from The Sopranos..Juan Bolsa is Johnny Sack in Spanish
😮
Ha that's an awesome fun fact I didn't know
Too bad its not true lmfao way to jump 😊
@@KevinJones-cr6go What are you denying here exactly? It's a direct translation.
Juan (John) Bolsa (bag/sack)
@@Jdb63 hey moron , what comment did you respond to my comment on genius ? The original comment genius . Did you not read it
Something I really love about Better Call Saul is that it didn’t just bring back character from Breaking Bad for a cheap cameo, they enriched the characters by giving them deeper backstories. Gustavo was a great example of this
In BCS I actually saw great representation of ocd. When Lalo is after Gus, Gus was found by Mike scrubbing the bathtub/ shower. When he was stressed he felt the need to clean stuff
I very rarely leave comments on videos. However, this was so well done that I have to give praise to you for how good this is. Extremely high quality, informative and very well put together. Subscribed.
The one we have all been waiting for 🔥
this is an AMAZING video, wow!!! the production and editing are insane! I'm in love!
Great video brother🙌🏾
you put so much time and thought into your videos. they are always incredibly well done
Good video man! The video I want to see next is how to stay motivated to achieving your goals. 🙏🏾🙌🏾👊🏾🤙🏾❤️
Excellent analysis and production!!! I thoroughly enjoyed this... 🔥🔥🔥
Wow… You absolutely killed this. Thank you. Amazing job
Outstanding work with this video! Great job portaiting Gus’s twisted and dark psychology, one of the best analysis I’ve seen!
This video is so well edited bro im subbing now before you hit 1M
There's the theory that Don Eladio did NOT kill Fring because he had recognized that Fring had been a high level member of the military in Chile
That's not really a theory is it? He literally says the only reason he is alive is because he knows who Gus is but he isn't in Chile anymore. Hector also referred to him as generallismo (idk the right spelling)
@@aalstraatgang5827 I actually meant to say storyline..not theory.. but you're right.
@@robertfalcone3025 Ah, yeah that makes sense haha.
There's another theory that he was a CIA asset
@@aalstraatgang5827 It's still just a theory. I don't believe Don Hector ever referred to Gus as 'generalismo'
Well I’m sold, I desperately need to revisit this show and watch El Camino. This was an excellent video and an amazing dive into the personality of Gus.
The research you put into Psychology is amazing man, been watching your content
This is probably the best examination video about breaking bad I've seen yet. Your thoughts on Gus's unique personality really got me thinking, and a lot of details i missed in Better Call Saul are making more sense to me now. Great work, definitely going to watch more on your channel.
Been waiting for this one bro! 🙏
This is such a well produced video.

Opening of the vid had me thinking I was watching a Nexpo vid, nice work with the quality.
I appreciate your work my brother. These videos does take time .Thank you for making these videos brother ❤(can you please create on narcos brother next time I will be very thankful for that )

Your editing is TOP TIER. You have a real talent for this, man. Well done, thanks for the entertaining video - you make these people seem like real historical figures!
That means a lot🙏🏼thank you
Feel like I just was a documentary
i've seen some pretty lazy videos on psychoanalyzing TV characters with pop psych in the past, but the reasoning, presentation and editing of this video are really impressive. great work, hope more people find your channel.
Comprehensive insight, great video.
You’re really talented my man. Keep it up!
Good content!
This video reminds me a lot of Lemino videos and I love it! Lemino makes videos on real life events but to get videos of that quality on my favorite shows is amazing!
Excited for this one👊🏽
This video is awsome man, great work
Amazing video like always 🔥🐐❤️
I love how this looks like a Lemmino video going over some real-life event. Very well done!
Top tier story telling on this channel

absolutely great video man! you should probably make one about teddy mcdonald and analysis of that guy, i think it would be really fun to watch
I love the LeMino style excellent work!!!!❤️
really good video man, love your content
Great stuff!
Great video bro.
Man, Gus was downright scary. Like, horror movie scary. He looked and acted just like an ordinary friendly civilized man when, in fact, he was a dangerous, calculating, cold-blooded murderer. He'd shake your hand with one hand and slit your throat with the other. His subtlety is what made him so terrifying. At least Tuco would look you in the eye and tell you he's gonna kill you, but with Gus, you won't see it coming.
Beautiful video loved it from the start into the end.
Thank you 🙏🏼
Excellent piece of content 🔥
30:03 I never realized when I watched it, but its kinda scary how spot on Walt actually was
great journalism !
This is amazing content Wisdom
Great work!!!
Killing Werner and not protecting nacho are the 2 things that had me convinced he wasn't any different then the cartel
I love the crime type formatting of this analysis its so good
dude this is serious stuff. I love this channel to the bottom of my heart, i have been able to understand characters at such a deep level that its really interesting. Please keep making vids like this. A suggestion: the dark psychology of some of the ufc fighters like Jon jones, sean strickland, or a more detailed psychology of conor mcgregor mentally beating his opponents.
Finally 🔥 I wonder who’s next
The editing and storytelling on this is just top notch. Amazing work
Great video. Love your breakdown. Gus is probably the greatest TV villain I've ever seen. Highly intelligent, self-controlled and utterly ruthless while being simultaneously despicable and fascinating.
I love these kind of videos
great editing in video
How does this have so few views? man that edit was on point! loved the analysis

Greetings from Germany! Thank you for your well made explanation of Gus Fring. Gustavo Fring is - in my option - the best villain ever created for the TV screen.
ik valentine has passed but i want to give you flowers great video bro🙏🏿
Just from the thumbnail I wanted to watch this video when it came out but I waited till I finished “Better Call Saul”. This video was worth the wait
What happened else in Chile? Fring was untouchable because of his past too. It was mentioned
If he were a real person he would have been close with the Krasnovs. With their power they could make him disappear- then reappear as " Gus ". Easy peasy.
Mate, is it possible that you have playlists? Your channel is amazing!
Brilliant! Subscribed*
This may be a strange comparison, but Gus always reminded me a bit of Hannibal Lecter. Especially in his mannerisms: an obsession with excellence and dignified presentation (right down to the nervous tie adjustment), the love and appreciation for food, the traumatic childhood in which both characters starved (albeit in very different ways), and habit of constantly surrounding themselves with people who adore them and thoroughly trust them while committing constant acts of evil just out of sight of their party guests. They’re both socially beloved and intellectually praised puppet masters who love food and well tailored suits, but with a shared hatred of rude and sloppy people.
The two main differences are that Gus isn’t a cannibal, and Hannibal Lecter was born into generational wealth while Gus was born into poverty and became wealthy on his own.
I see it. Intresting comparison.
Amazing video
Best documentary ever!
excellent job. cant wait for you to cover Frank Lukas from American Gangster.
Great work on this clip bro, i am sure it takes a lot of time to make them but your dedication can be seen within every clip. (If you don't mind could next make the Dark phsycology of Lalo Salamanca or maybe Hector cuz I would be verry gratefull for that)
Great work on this and the Wire haven't seen the other's yet👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿💯💯💯💯
Much love🙏
Fire video 🔥 🔥
The scariest part is having observe sadism in the actions of kids when I was younger. Then knowing that these kids turning into adults will learn how to cover up their sadistic tendencies. Sadism is also embedded deep within most, if not all of us, and there are moments when it rears its ugly head. Even if it is just in our minds.
He’s back
I love these videos. I hope one day you can do Marty Byrd from Ozark that would be wild.
Wendy is way more crazy Than marty
Good content
Gus was extremely calculating and the only thing that got him killed was his ego and I believe to be pride in winning his battles. His number one battle being against Hector Salamanca and the second priority to that being Walter White.
Great video bro do jax teller from sons of anarchy next and keep up the great content 🔥
Great video but please don’t make us wait another 2 months for an upload, keep them coming
this channel should have at least a million subscribers. the production, editing, and research is impeccable. well done brother.
