    Man those campsites are awesome. The effort put into making them look nice shows. The steps to the picnic tables, even the painted poles. Definitely some of the nicest campsites I've seen

      I agree! It’s the little things that make it awesome. If only more of our parks would take notice. Ray Roberts Lake SP is definitely high on my list of favorites! Thanks for watching and safe travels! 👍😎

    Great park to visit. Wide open area and beautiful beach. This place is absolutely well maintained. 👍

      I agree! Very well maintained and immaculate! I could tell that the park staff takes pride in keeping the park at the next level. Ray Roberts rivals the parks that I’ve visited in the Austin area! Thanks for watching! 👍😎

      @@campingtexan7721 Austin is not that far from San Antonio where I'm gonna be traveling in next week. 👍

      @@FollowThomas Awesome! I highly recommend Pedernales Falls SP if you are in the area. Campsites are amazing with their large boulders and really cool shade shelters over the picnic tables! I will be at South Llano River SP in a couple weeks! Safe travels out there! 👍😎

    Great video! Do you think a 13’ high 5th wheel can get in spot 150? The tree by the utilities is concerning.

      Absolutely! The night we pulled in, there was a family with a large fifth wheel and they seemed to be very comfortable in the site.

    Question?? Do you use the Anderson type leaving blocks that you drive or pull your camper on if so is it easer to level your rig and what do you use for your black tank treatment

    • @campingtexan7721
      @campingtexan7721  Рік тому +1

      I have not tried the Andersen Leveling Blocks, but I may get some and check them out. They appear to be very durable and have great reviews online. Thanks for mentioning those! For my black tank, I keep a bottle of Campa Fresh that I get from WalMart on hand. After each trip, I pour a generous amount in with fresh water. Knock on wood, I’ve never had any odor issues. Awesome questions! Thanks for watching and stay safe out there! 👍😎

    I watched the constrution of this lake .
    coming from the west exits at Sanger off of I35. This camp ground is just across the Dam on the left.
