I'm going to make a stab at this adorable bonnet. Nice close up camera. I'm 1 year new to crochet. I hope I can achieve same results using the same yarn. Ecstatic I discovered UA-cam crochet tutorials and free delivery. It's helped improve my mood. Crochet so clean I can do it in bed. I'm working on recovering from medical malpractice. Crochet is a huge relief from watching TV. Bless you.
Oh wow, medical malpractice is difficult at best. I pray everything turned out in your favor. I'm a Registered Surgical Nurse, so I understand how extremely difficult and anxiety filled this can be. Keep chrocheting, it helps with anxiety, high B/P, and sleeping. Be Blessed.
I absolutely LOVE this pattern! Its sooo very beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing it! I have made (followed) this video twice, and am about to a third time. Love it!
This is the BEST ever baby hat. I’ve made many and it looks adorable on every baby girl I’ve gifted them to. Thanks so much Crystal. I have promised myself to follow along and write a written pattern so I’ll have it always. ❤🧶
This is such a beautiful little bonnet! Thank you for being such a wonderful teacher! I never thought I could crochet projects like these because I have so much trouble reading patterns, but watching your tutorials makes me feel like I can crochet anything! Thank you so much!!!
I commend you for your easy to follow, even paced directions to making this bonnet. I have actually had Anxiety attacks while following along with other teachers. THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
I DID it!!! I made this cute adorable hat for my newest Great Niece that will be delivered in the next few days. It turned out so wonderful. You are a great teacher. Thank you so very, very much!!!
I just learned the puff Vstitch. Thank you so much; i guess one is never too old to learn something new even at the age of 67 and a disabled stroke survivor.
Made this and loved it so much I made a few more. I don’t have any babies, but I’m sure someone somewhere will and then I’ll give them all away. This is the cutest ever. Thank you!
I am thrilled to death with these tutorials. I am learning so many new things and loving how they all turn out. Thank you for being such a good teacher.
Just finished the dress for my newest granddaughter on the way (bringing to total of grandkids to 11 now... and counting), and now I'm starting on this bonnet. And then I'm making some more of these baby dresses/outfits you've shared with us. But in between, I'd like to thank you, so very much, for all of your most wonderful tutorials! I have made sooooo many things that you have taught us, that I've lost count now. So yup... I can't thank you enough! 💜☺👍💜
Thank u so much Crystle. You explain everything very clearly. I am a very bigginer crochier. I followed your instructions and made the same bonnet . It became very pretty.
My bonnet came out adorable! I was nervous that as a beginner I'd not be able to do it but glad I did. Prettiest bonnet on You-tube! Thank you for the clear directions. Can't wait to see it on my 1st granddaughter!
Thanks for the tutorial I have made the dress and the bonnet I changed the puff v-st the to a DC v-st cluster so the blanket dress and bonnet would match thank you again and keep up the good work
Excellent tutorial!!! Easy to follow, EASY instructions and visuals!! another video I watched with a different "instructor" was DIFFICULT to follow. She actually said "skip 2 stitches then these 2 and do a dc in this one" !!!! I still don't know if she DC'ed in the 4th or 5th stitch!!! but YOU did an excellent job. THANK YOU for that and this lovely lovely hat. I can actually MAKE this one. LOVE making baby bonnets.
I just made this without the flower using cream-colored baby alpaca yarn. It was so easy and it came out super cute! Thank you for having the camera be very close to your work so we can see where we went wrong when we know we messed up. Took half a day, but it was well worth checking our your video LOVE IT!
Love this hat so much. Almost finished with my first hat. Your demonstration is perfect! So easy to follow along with you. I will post a picture of my finished product. Thank you so much!
Woooow thank you so much for doing this tutorial. I have been searching and searching for the perfect bonnet to make my 4 daughters and my friend just had triplets a week ago and I wanted to make some for her girls too. This one made the most sense to me and you're very descriptive and helpful. Thanks! I'm subscribing.
WoW, triplets! I can't imagine. I too love this bonnet and plan on making it for my 1st Grandchild, a beautiful little girl. I've make her 2 blankets, 3 beannie's, at least 6 headbands with pretty flowers, a washcloth from cotton, easter egg rattles, so many fun, beautiful items I can't recall all of them. Congrats to your friend for her triplets. May they be Blessed.
Adorable bonnet Crystal, thank you! I just made this in white. I loved this sweet pattern and wish you'd consider doing a tutorial for a matching sweater. Thanks again for such a spot on tutorial!
Thanks for this cute tutorial! Gonna crochet a green one with froggie decals. Love the puff stitch in this patten design. Ive made a whole sweater using hdc; now to adding the puff stitch.
Very easy to follow. So adorable and well worth the effort. I also made the flower and couldn't believe how easy and quickly I was able to make one up. Great tutorial! I wish we could rate you with stars...*****5 stars!
hi awesome tutorial I made one for my 3 month old and it came out great now my two older girls want one as well how would you measure to make one for 8yr Olds thanks for your time
Hi Crystal, I just made this gorgeous bonnet yesterday in 'Fresh Mint' Super Saver Ombre to complement a shell stitch ruffled baby blanket .. I knew if I made the hat, it had to be one of your patterns, and I was so thrilled to find this darling look. It was the perfect one! Your tutorial was very easy to follow, and the video quality was excellent. You made my day!! Thank you for all of your talents, yarn reviews, (like the latest Hobium unboxing) and wonderful projects. !!
Sending you some love. I am a knitter And have been playing around with crochet, This is my 1st crochet project and the hat is going to be for my new granddaughter born in January. I am Very picky when I watch UA-cam videos, With that being said Your instructions have been clear, concise and very easy to follow. I am halfway through with this hat following you. I pause the video where I left off and resume with no problems. The hat being my 1st time making it has come along beautifully. Thanks And keep up the good work

I just got finished making the bonnet. I tbought it was going to be hard but it wasn't... I followed right along with you..your videos are the best i wanted to show you a pic but there is no way to add a pic here.. Thanks. You are a great teacher....
Hi Crystal. Rewatching as we have a baby girl coming into the family near Xmas time. This is beautiful and very traditional/Victorian looking. Thanks as always from Yorkshire xx
Made 2 more for soon- to -be -born twin girl babies. This time I used a lighter weight yarn since they'll be smaller newborns. Love your tutorials, Crystal!!
Crystal I made this along with u in an afternoon.... I'm so excited! I learned the v_puff stitch along with how to do the ruffles. Thank u so very much! u r such a Awesome Teacher🤗 I will post a pick of the lil bonnet on ur FB page for u I ran out of purple yarn & did the boarder & the ruffles in light pink came out Great!
Love this little hat. Finished it pretty quickly. I did something different on the ties. I just continued with the chain stitch when finishing and turned at the end and then did the hat and then did the other tie the same way. I did not cut and put them together, simply continued and turned. Thanks so much for your very very clear and easy to understand video. You are a good teacher.
Made this one again, for the 5 or 6th time now, or so. This time, for a summer baby, i used a soft cotton, a one weight with a 3mm hook. Just a round of increase more, 2 more rows of puff v stitches and 2 more rows of single crochet rows. This is such a good tutorial and the bonnet is just so adorable in whatever yarn i choose.
Thanks for the great tutorial I made this bonnet and at the end I realised it was too big so instead of making five double crochet rows I ripped out and left just two double crochet rows that reduced the depth and made it smaller it worked perfectly
Thank you for the tutorial. Your instructions are very easy to follow :) I ended up making two bonnets! The second one was all white and the first one I ended up revamping and used three colors (white, grey, and pink). Using different colors really make the stitches stand out. Super cute!! I'd love to post a picture but can't.
Just made this for my granddaughter of 5wks, love this bonnet, going to make her more, I used cashmere cotton and it's crochet lovely. Thankyou for this pattern /tutorial 😊
