Creator of the mod here! Lots planned for this mod, including a better implementation on that Difficulty system, random enemy encounters, secret hidden challenges, and many more songs and mechanics!
For about 2 months, this mod had been a solo project. I had worked on the coding and alot of the background art, but since the beta, I had the help of so many super talented artist, and the dev team has grown significantly. Look forward to some more content from this mod in the future!
The Demo helped gauge what exactly was tripping people up and what was more manageable. This is a learning experience that will significantly increase the quality of the final product.

Not gonna lie, I teared up on the Asriel's one because that really hit me hard
The fangames, comics, the game, the lore of it, the discovery of playing it, it came back once BF started to solo and sing like a silent lullaby to Asriel, that final part where Asriel tries to stop BF with lighting from the 4 notes like his laser in the real fight.
This mod got me every feeling of why I love Undertale.

It’s a cool detail that Boyfriend has a cyan soul, the soul of patience, which ties into the timing that goes into playing FNF and rhythm games in general.

The Sans fight is excellent to capture the feeling of when you first fight Sans in Undertale, which is "OHMYGODWHATTHEHELLISHAPPENINGRIGHTNOWAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!"

The charting seems very off in Flowey's song and sans is way over the top, but overall, good mod, high quality.
Also, Merg+Undertale will never be a bad combination

I love how the songs are the bosses and the bosses themes of the 3 main endings in undertale. Asriel for pacifist, Flowey for neutral, And sans for genocide. Also the green note in the flowey battle are the health notes from the Photoshop fight against Flowey
I love how the most powerful of them, and the "true" final boss is first. But hey, it's only natural to put Snans last.
Oh yeah from a difficulty standpoint it makes sense.

i didn't know about this mod's existence, it seems to be really fun, tho! it's good, but honestly my favorite part has to be asriel, it looks all balanced and satisfying to play

@@kittygirl0872 The game was published in 2014 for a game jam. Then re-released on steam with tons of huge changes. 2016 was when it was published on steam.

Ironically, there are checkpoints on every song except Sans.
This mod here has reminded me about how much I love Undertale.

He disabled the escape button on the game over because before the recent patch, pressing esc. would not bring you to the overworld but to the fnf menu
Lol, there was same but with X event mod, I JusT opened it and hot to normal FNF nenu didnt even knew there WAS overworld
The foreground bones during Sans’ song are a distraction like the text box and the Star Bit notes during Asriel’s song are just like fire notes, they hurt you if you hit the note. They don’t hurt if they hit the soul though.
No matter how many times i hear Merg singing the *Undertale songs,* it's always *priceless* :)

Bruh i love this mod, the mechanics took some time getting used to but I'm hyped up for this vid.
Merg, in this mod you arent in true pacifist mode, your fighting each boss from each route, e.g. asriel from true pacifist, omega flowey from neutral, sans from genocide, and good video. Keep on the hard work!
I love the Asriel's song so much that I listen to it nearly all the time! Also Hopes and Dreams is my favorite theme in the entire undertale (for the time being only Big Shot made had been around the coolness of it) and this version is EVEN BETTER!
I originally thought Sans would be easy bc He tries to spare you in the fight as well as giving up as soon as you hit him As he has 1 def.

i cried in the asriel part when i played it myself at 3 am, seriously, the dialogue is so.. good, and right after that, the beaultiful leitmotif in memory, hopes and dreams, and undertale sang by bf, made me get so nostalgic when i first played undertale, truly a amazing mod

The big bones in the sans battle were just distraction. In your arrow space appeared little orange bones that work the same way as in the original Undertale. They made you taking damage.
This mod is very difficult so I was just waiting for you to play it lol

They really need to buff flowey on normal mode. His damage is very weak and aside from the souls there are barely any gimmicks like Asriel, and once he starts actually attacking in the final phase you heal everything

Merg, you couldnt have noticed bc you are SO SKILLED, but i think this is thr first mod that adds checkpoints in the musics, except for sans, where you need to go one shot
We all know the tradition. You have to do the equivalent of hitless sans here. Finish the songs with 100% accuracy. That would be epic, and would also maybe draw views from both the Undertale and FNF communities.
Actually fnf is not a game u can be good in 2 months and 100% is way too hard for merg play for about 2 years and play a better rhyhm game thats 4 key then merg will do 100%
