The conical gear could be made more efficient. You'd stack three gears above each other and affix them coaxially to move together, they'll form an inverted cone and mesh with the respective gears. It'll be more efficient due to a lower friction with either a cycloidal or involute teeth profile. I see in the drawing that one such variation already exists among da Vinci's works (the third, rightmost inverted conical gear drawing). Another variation of this design I came up with is to directly nest each of the driven gears within one another (the two outer ones would have concave cages below the plane). Instead of using an inverted set of gears to drive the now nested gears, you'd uses a shaft with gears of the same radius and affixed to each other, to perpendicularly drive the nested gears. Since the inner gear is driven at the same rate as the outer gear, it will make a full revolution faster. Visuals and space constraints aside, in terms of outcome, it's virtually the same thing. The perpendicular version is a good visualization as to why say, track runners start "closer" to the finish line as one moves further out to the wider lanes.

God, the Absolute. He does not give birth, nor was He born, and there is nothing like Him.”} (Quran 112:1-4)[4] 📚 🔴 Becoming a Muslim is not turning your back to Jesus. 🔵 Rather it’s going back to the original teachings of Jesus and obeying him.

seen that picture of a cone and gears many times, never knew that's how it worked. Interesting. Wonder what the applications are
Ball bearing??
