I'm curious why you would need metal detection? Does the risk of metal ending up in the tablets come from wear and tear of the machinery?

Hi Daniel, I hope you're well.
Metal detection is mainly used in large pharmaceutical industries to detect metal that can sometimes be in raw materials or from the equipment itself, if it's damage etc.
