I don't know but back in 1953, before they straightened the road I witnessed a car jumping a ditch and ending up on its side at Byard's Leap, right alongside Cranwell :)

@philshaw439 > Glider = Clickbait Why does flying and landing a glider make a video titled "_Flying low over the College Hall Officers’ Mess at RAF Cranwell to land_" clickbait? Please explain. And feel free to remain logical and reasoned at all times.
@@Captureasecond Superbly judged there buddy. No marks for an undershoot! I'm impressed with your manners responding to Baobob. I would guess his version of exciting is watching the foot foot.
Enjoyed that. Brought back memories of officer training in 1974/5.
And 1977 😊

21GE for me. Won the Battle of Britain aerobatics trophy 1975. I wonder whether it's still a sexual desert! 😂
@@RogerM9 Probably not given the influx of what were WRAF.
Wow! 3in1. Beautiful, Awesome and Invigorating 😃👍👏👏
Hmmm, last time I did that was at 2ANS Gaydon in 1967, also off a cable launch... talk about Tempus Fugit! 👍
Nicely done. 👍🏻
Thank you! 👍
Is that off a winch launch? Funny thing is, I drove past there on the main road that day! 😀
Yes, winch launched.
@@CaptureasecondThat's cool!
I learnt to glide at Swanton Morley in 1962. ...with my school RAF section. I think that's very near Cranwell??
Swanson Morley is in Norfolk. Cranwell is in Lincolnshire.
@@Captureasecond Ok thanks. We must have combined with a visit to Cranwell on the same trip.
@@ianpunter4486isn’t Swanton Marley closed?
@@Tvgamerxx7268 this was 1962, and I was 16/17.....probably an industrial wasteland now.

Any paranormal stuff around Cranwell? I had a spooky experience when cycling down the main road gone midnight some years ago.

There's no such thing as ghosts."Ghost stories," are exactly that, stories made up by sad people to try and impress others.
