Definitely, such an underrated gem because it fell through the cracks between the Christian music and mainstream market. This album ages like a fine wine. I mean, ragtime in an industrial album, when has that ever existed other than this album. 36yo here 🤘
I thought that "Circle" was followed by "Leave Me Alone" on the R.E.X. release, and that "Doomsayer" didn't play until the end? This album's history confuses the hell out of me; but I love it.
The fact that this album was controversial at all never ceases to annoy me. That whole scene had a bad habit of putting it's artists in a creative chokehold (letting tons of shitty music out of the gate just because it had 'the right message' didn't help either.) Just thinking about the kind of clueless, preachy, condescending old windbags who were in control, actively squelching talent.... it makes me as angry as these guys sound. :D
@Jacob45678Liam I have one of the _Misguided_ vinyls (of which I believe there were only ever three made). it's actually an acetate, which is unfortunate, since acetates - which are intended to hold up for only one or two listens before being discarded - deteriorate about a thousand times more with each individual play than mass-produced vinyls do. the one I have has been played only once as far as I know, strictly for the purpose of digitizing it. as for the song Babylon on the _Misguided_ vinyl, it is 100% identical to the track Babylon on _Disengage_ - including where and how quickly it fades out at the end - so if you've heard the version from _Disengage_ then you've essentially heard the version from the _Misguided_ vinyl as well. the only differences between the two are the mastering and, of course, a massive amount of pops and crackles (on the vinyl version).
i find it unfortunate that Klayton doesn't want some of his earlier stuff like this to be economized. I would certainly purchase music like this, but it's his own choice
I feel strong vibes of Quake in this, Klayton should have done Quake soundtrack instead of Trent Reznor Curious that this came before even Quake existed
Amazing music ..." Christians" are critical and judgmental." Christians" kill their wounded. I left the church because od that and it is taking long to heal. My problem is I looked up to them also instead of God. I left when he said to and was called names form the pulpit because of it. This music is something used for HIs glory.
The emotion behind here was as a Job or a Samson life of the Bible and not synonymous to drama derived from the legalistic pomp of an unremarkable dead philistine. I'd rather the former than the latter
There has been nothing like this album before or since. It is one of the greatest Industrial Metal projects of all time.
One of the greatest records ever made IMO. Soundtrack to my life in 1997.
How Old Are You Now?

Just found this cd at a used record store a little while ago. It was a no-brainer pick up.
This is such a great album!
Still got my original CD and cassettes.
So many great artist featured in this album! Confusing at times; I guess I'm just... misguided.
Thank you for sharing this album, I was searching for it.
Best album ever!
simply one of the best. Five star.
Love this grilling out playing this on little Bluetooth speaker. On our deck awesome... Smoked Chilli.

That's a good thing. Means that you're freely thinking and that you respect art.
same thing happened to Six Feet Deep, after The Road Less Traveled they disbanded

I can feel the nostalgia trauma in this.
I am frightened

Before it's time.
I would have disagree: A perfect & unique product of it's time that will always sound amazing. This album couldn't have been made at any other time.
haven't heard this in years
Soooo good
Anyone know of the whereabouts for the 1994 version of Babylon that was released on the Argyle Park vinyl? It's practically impossible to find.
@Jacob45678Liam

Why do underground artists make such amazing music but are invisible in the mainstream music world?
+Chrono Thrasher Have you listened to the radio recently? The listening public are musically disabled. Sad days, man.
lightfusegetaway We live in a dystopian reality, that's for sure.
Just what I was thinking. I couldn't even label some popular artists as music nowadays.
I used to go to sleep to this when I was in highschool! been so long glad I found it on here!
Iya got the dog food for ya !!! Your a good kid just stay outta trouble . bet ya Kant sing spider man spiderman ! I am Gutter boy!!!!
R.E.X. was putting out a whole lot of incredible music in the late 90s. This might be the best of the bunch tho.
i find it unfortunate that Klayton doesn't want some of his earlier stuff like this to be economized. I would certainly purchase music like this, but it's his own choice
+Daniel Dosso He's going to remaster this ;)
+Daniel Dosso he couldn't because he didn't have the rights till recently. He bought the rights back and is remastering them come 2016. Soon!!
Daniel Banker nice! i'l wait until he releases them. I've enjoyed his music quite a bit
+Daniel Dosso de remaster wil be out in august
