Honestly , this is how it should have been even on Ghana's part minus the staircase issues and other petty things i have heard so far of which I was kind of disappointed. Even as a Ghanaian. Now they are heaping coals of fire on our heads and we are ashamed. Ghanaians are also very well known for our hospitality but I don't know what happened this time around. Let's learn from this. That no matter the rivalry, derby etc let's always treat each other with love and respect. Now after giving the Nigerians all the I'll treatments that we did. Did it kill them? Did it win us the March?
I will repeat again that I was very disappointed when I saw that video. The bad staircase, hitting their busses, not allowing them to inspect the pitch etc. We don't have any other Africa elsewhere o. Let's cherish the one we have.

THIS IS WHO WE ARE AS A PEOPLE WHEN IT COMES TO THE SPIRIT OF FRIENDSHIP AND BROTHERHOOD. This is the sort of hospitality, generosity, charity, and respect Africans should accord one another; Nigeria never comes short. While red carpets were rolled out, with a dance troupe to welcome Ghanaians, the contrary was the case in the first leg. An unwarranted barrage of disparaging comments and insults from certain Ghanaian personalities were all Nigeria got from Ghana. The technical team of Nigeria ignored the advice to land in Kotoka instead and use one of their planes. They preferred to land a bigger plane in an incomplete Kumasi knowing the largest ladder was insufficient for the plane type. Don't make this political and there were no insults from Ghanaian personalities towards Nigerians.
But why aren't you talking about Ghanaians who were nearly attacked at the end of the game? Some had to even be evacuated in order to be safe. Double standards I guess?

We did not broadcast everything Ghana did for the Nigerian players to the world. The Nigerian players complained about their hotel and the blackstars vacated their hotel- the Golden Tulip(the best hotel in Kumasi) for the Nigerian players. If we treated them badly, do you think your players wouldn't be complaining on social media? Your football federation insisted on no media coverage of your team right from the airport that's why you didn't see anything. So stop talking like Ghana was mean to your players. No Ghanaian has time to be mean. We both know Ghanaians are the more hospitable ones.

The truth about Pan-Africanism is that Nigeria walks the walk, while some others talk the talk. I've always told people to observe closely and forget the noise. In the true spirit of Pan-Africanism, Nigeria does not play that card because they want your tourist money. Nigerians truly believe people of African descent to be the same. Nigeria, Benin, Togo and Ghana share a special cultural and family bond that no damn internet trolls could ever erode. Having said that, I commend the few players that reciprocated the gesture.
