Much like the standard Capture age does at the top. 2 - You could add a very small box above the chat that shows current selected unit(s), the number of the units, and the standard unit info. This Doesn't really have to be a big box.
I’m so disappointed in everyone in this game Except ace and strode hope to see more of those 2 in the future they all hanged up on ace and it took all of them
Watching this one live reminded me of why bombard towers used to be banned in some games. With all due respect to everyone who watches it only on UA-cam (and I was in this category just last year), watching live does make it more exciting.
Orange giving me strong Lawful Evil vibes haha, playing everyone against each other whilst contributing almost nothing sitting in a nest of bombard towers
As many great moments as there were in this video (Ace will always be the people's winner), it was infuriating seeing it basically turn into a drawn out series of one vs everyone else as everyone dogpiled a single person trying to steal the king kill for the money. Over half the video was everyone vs Ace, then everyone vs Roech, and then it almost turned into everyone vs StRode at the end, with only teal's terrible choice of strategy saving StRode and the viewer from yet another such fate. As exciting as it's been in the past, I think the money make's people play a lot more selfishly and cautiously and in this case made for a more boring and less competitive game.
Orange really played much better as Turk than anyone else in general. Playing with Cav Archers and Bombard Cannons was a good idea. Creating a build order for Cav Archers is easier than creating a build order for Janissaries. Turks are really good Cav Archer civilization. It's not easy to counter Turk Cav Archers. Turks can snip Rams and Skirms with free upgarade Hussars. If the enemy Paladin trains, their Turk Heavy Camel Riders can give the adequate answer. Also, if the enemy starts sending Halbs, the Turk Cav Archers will do the trick with a little micro. In addition, thanks to the Sipahi upgrade, they already become like tanks. If you also want to put some pressure on the gun powder aspect, you can train free upgrade Hand Cannoneers right away against enemy infantry and Halbs. In other words, thanks to the free upgrades, you will be able to respond very quickly for different combinations. Turks can only be played with Cav Archer line upgrades and Camel line upgrades as if they were Mongols. Hussar is already free. It is quite difficult to counter the combination of Heavy Camel, Heavy Cav Archer, Hussar and Bombard Cannon. It is only necessary to upgrade the Sword line units to at least Two-Handed when it is felt that the game will be too late. They beat Halbs and cost only 20 gold.
While I understand that it's how you win the game and I think the diplo aspect of it definitely deserves respect, it was also a not very fun watch imo. It wasn't entirely their fault and the pretty abysmal gamesense at times from players compounded it immensely, but I think the fact remains that something kind of needs to be done to spur action on more than kingsnipe prizepools imo. I don't think it should turn into the 3 second in kingsnipe in that exploding villagers nomad match because that's a little too extreme in the opposite direction, but I do want to see an environment where we see more moments like "the first rule of diplomacy is, never trust anyone" or the red reboom in triple exploding kings. I saw a comment floating the idea of incentivizing making crazy plays with a viewer's choice prize and I think if it can work without being too problematic, I'd love to see it. It probably would not stop someone who really wanted that first place prize money from going with a safe strat, nor will it be a perfect solution, but I do think it might inspire some more off the wall plays, even if they aren't exactly "smart" ones
Ace adds a nice dynamic to games, maybe not as a constant regular but every now and then. He's like the north korea in diplo, isolated and everyone wants to put an end to it but will have to pay a cost
Mind blown. I randomly started playing aoe2 hd on my steam account again then looking for tips I find out there is a new version aoe2 de, (mind blown) and its popular. Then I discover this channel I find it soo entertaining these rumbles and the low elo players and hi elo players.
Omg that was so good hahahaha. I was rooting for ace but I knew he was gonna just piss everyone off at the beginning. Then no diplo was a death sentence
Tends to happen in games where players are too afraid to "weaken" themselves by responding to an actual threat, worried they'll be stabbed in the back at any moment. This usually just lets the person they should have done something about walk away with the game.
I really don't understand why blue backstabbed grey. He was probably going to get 2nd either way, but he gave the lame-duck turtle the win instead of making him get 3rd. Also, teal was SUPER dumb attacking blue...
Honestly, I wanted Red to win. I mean he got a cool 25, but still. My mans was trying to be honest and working so hard, real MVP of the entire match ; . ;
First time in my YT career I've ever skipped to the end of a T90 video... I just had a hunch nobody was ever going to turn on orange and didn't want to sit there for another hour and 20 minutes
Ace of Emeralds deserves a new chance in Regicide Rumble. They did him dirty in the last one. They conspired all against him. Please! I need to see a rematch, and he had all the reliques. He deserves a new chance. I am so sad if he not becomes a second chance.
Yeah I dont get why the bombards were accepted like that, saying we were at a point. Exactly were like majority of the community left and was build up with new people cuz of the platform move so pointing out bombard towers wasn't as common anymore
Should make the chat bubbles be the colour of the person/people being spoken to, keeping the name of the speaker as the colour they are. I.e. StRode's name & chat text would be orange still, while his bubble being blue, when talking to FunSponge.
@@kelvinsomnia Yeah, little bit - unless it's possible to code in multiple colours, changing colours or just as dots, similar to the allies/enemies legend
How about like regular aoe where if you select a player and then hotkey select their buildings it shows what techs that building has produced? So that you can still see what they have, while not having it up all the time.
Hey T 90, would it be good idea to give the person who snipe the king all of the defeat player's resources? this will greatly incentivize everybody to attack even without prize pool.
Problem is that it will create a snowball effect, the powerful people (the ones already powerful enough to kill other kings) will only become instantly more powerful and able to take out the next king with even more ease creating a very one sided fight.

It is only necessary to upgrade the Sword line units to at least Two-Handed when it is felt that the game will be too late. They beat Halbs and cost only 20 gold.
He's not commanding an attack against the hobos; I understand, for I am an attack hobo myself.
roach was the only sane one in this game
I was thinking it might be fun to see competitive players (like Daut) compete in a diplo game along side diplo legends (like Blue Coffee)
At 2:17:22 StRode said 'fuck' and it wasn't censored :O How can an in-game building(dock) be censored while fuck is not?
I'd somehow love these games with a viewer favorite award voted after the game with whatever the community wants to pitch in :D
I wanted petards in ram to take out those bombard towers at the end
27:00 I am still angry about microsoft censoring ballista elephant, no idea why. It just makes me angry
Can't say ballista elephant because 'ball'
Can literally say fuck.
Lolol I was wondering what you said :)
57:30 I had a friend from the Netherlands. And he used "chaps" frequently in emails, but not in person that I can remember.
Ace adds a nice dynamic to games, maybe not as a constant regular but every now and then. He's like the north korea in diplo, isolated and everyone wants to put an end to it but will have to pay a cost
ace of emeralds is probably mining bitcoin with his vills somehow
I listened to most of this on my two hour drive back to my work shop and now I finally got to look at the map xD
I like how chat doesn't censor actual cuss words but it censors normal words.
I love yellow, such a good spirit
The threat assessment was abysmal. Very hard to watch.
Tends to happen in games where players are too afraid to "weaken" themselves by responding to an actual threat, worried they'll be stabbed in the back at any moment. This usually just lets the person they should have done something about walk away with the game.
Will you post the full RR 4?
THIS
Seriously, I wanna see game 1 since SEH was in it.
I really don't understand why blue backstabbed grey. He was probably going to get 2nd either way, but he gave the lame-duck turtle the win instead of making him get 3rd. Also, teal was SUPER dumb attacking blue...
For real though. Backstabbing blue guarranteed he'd be first loser. If he stuck with the plan it was at least a 50/50 shot he'd win.
Honestly, I wanted Red to win. I mean he got a cool 25, but still. My mans was trying to be honest and working so hard, real MVP of the entire match ; . ;
He and blue had good thing going before he left his king open for the world's easiest snipe.
you could tell rode was going to win that when you saw the 80 towers lol
First time in my YT career I've ever skipped to the end of a T90 video... I just had a hunch nobody was ever going to turn on orange and didn't want to sit there for another hour and 20 minutes
when roech made up with blue the first time, he should have convinced him to trade.
Ace of Emeralds deserves a new chance in Regicide Rumble. They did him dirty in the last one. They conspired all against him. Please! I need to see a rematch, and he had all the reliques. He deserves a new chance. I am so sad if he not becomes a second chance.
This game is the definition of a fustercluck. Loved it.
I kinda want to see Ace, Strode, BlueCoffee, and Rus all play in the same game.
Dang poor roech, good grill said they were reliable but hes finding out the hard way that all grills are the same.... it was just his turn 1111
The hard part is when they’re talking to a group, then
@@kelvinsomnia Yeah, little bit - unless it's possible to code in multiple colours, changing colours or just as dots, similar to the allies/enemies legend
How about like regular aoe where if you select a player and then hotkey select their buildings it shows what techs that building has produced? So that you can still see what they have, while not having it up all the time.
Man, justice for Ace. You gotta get him in next time too.
At 1:22:45 blue says fuck but it isn't censored
what means the WE LM on the bottom left table?
Blue literally could have won. He should have not killed grey and when grey's wonder countdown will be nearly over then he should had attacked grey.
He should have built his own wonder to have a countdown 10 years behind, so one of them will win anyway.
@@steelfoam2518 yes.
If he diddn't stab grey in the back he would have rolled him after orange easy.
Please upload more of these community type games!
4:30 im rolling already, what is that proposal form grill 11111111111
Orange just chilling and watch blue and grey going at it.
Ace of Emeralds thought that Joseph Stalin wasn't living up to the name very much
Teal: I have literally no idea what I'm doing
I think there should be some mod which introduces set rules for diplo like 1 dude cannot have more than this Number of allies etc
Nah
I think it’s good for everyone to ally at the beginning to reduce risk of accidental fights and stuff like that
Teal was an ultra mong, actually frustrating to watch. I'm glad he didn't make it to the top 3. Such players don't deserve winning any money.
For the box in the top right: add the "hidden" techs!
Armor, Unique techs etc... the rest is easy enough to spot!
I sure wish you didn't have to guess who's talking to who the whole time. But either way, great content
dude! 56 K gold...down the drain with Ace.....sooooo disappointing....lol i would have loved to seen him use that gold, monks, cav, hell bribes, or even some tribute....
for real, could have bought people off or even just bought time
make it so that if a player kills their king, the prize is divided equally among the surviving players
high hopes for the next RR game. Tbh pretty disappointed about how both games turned out in the end
Bulgarian Guard Tower is a 10 by the way
aw man ace of emeralds! xD
Teal deserved to be kicked out of top 3.
I love grey the most in this.
Rip yellow :(
green could have diploed harder.
i can understand blue's greed.
I like that red was very persistent with killing Ace.
Idk if it bothers anyone else but I think that red and purple' text is a bit hard to read if it's on a weird background. It'd be nice maybe if the current age changed to the loading next age for age ups and maybe just the last tech researched can pop up next to their name and stay up for 30 seconds.
Why is ace of emeralds not green?
Missed opportunity there.
It's a tie, Röchelrochen is always green and Ace too. Guess Roche as Host picked colours first.
You gotta protect those adults from bad words.
Dude.... strode was such an obvious pile on...................
True I agree but blue and red didn’t have anywhere else to trade, if purple had made the markets he promised I think this would have been a very different game
@@TomatoBisque89 I get the lack of trade but still everyone jumped on ace and they didn't even consider turning on strode until green gray and teal were having some beef. Blue even turned on gray settling for 2nd. I was just waiting for those towers to go down all game
Within 90 seconds, it becomes clear that T90 needs to watch Monty Python and the Holy Grail...
Yellow must've been smoking something good. Damn.
How can we see game 1? Is it on UA-cam?
