Given that Fred Snr. without Fred in his life would’ve been worse than Brad and Judy, it’s difficult to make a proper judgement on whether *them* having raised him would have prevented their worst qualities… perhaps, but also perhaps not. Tough to be sure as we haven’t the proof either way.
Wasn't crazy about Fred's trap fixation and lack of emotional intelligence here, but the latter is at least implied to be because MJ was so distant. It's too bad we didn't dive into how the gang's parents molded them.

Also it's kinda fucked up how the old Mayor who kidnapped him as a baby and never really paid attention to him is somehow still a better parent figure than Brad and Judie.😅
Also I love how Blue Falcon here was like a parody of the gritty the Dark Knight Returns (comic not movie) version of Batman.😂
The episode that changed everything for me. Serra's ghost saying that story, that it's always the animal that's at fault and that foreshadowing from ep 2 really spoked me and left me speechless 😆

- Radley Crown aka Blue Falcon is voiced by Troy Baker (who has voiced both Batman & Joker in various animated media) while reprising his role from the original Frank Welker voices Dynomutt (previously called Reggie) which fun fact the first episode of “Dynomutt, Dog Wonder” that being “Everyone Hyde!” was a crossover with the Scooby gang
- Blue Falcon in the original series was a wealthy art dealer who was based on the Adam West’s Batman, but this version was a security guard while being more based on Frank Miller’s version of Batman being more gritty & violent with even the line he says “that there are 17 incapacitate a person & all of them hurt” which is a bit of a reference to the line Batman says “There are seven working defenses from this position: 3 of them disarm with minimal contact, 3 of them kill, 1 of them... hurts"(from The Dark Knight Returns)
- While as for Dynomutt his personality is the same as the original his origin of becoming a cyborg is similar to the 6 Million Dollar Man
- Dr. Quest & his arch-nemesis Dr. Zin are both voiced by Eric Buza
- Race Bannon & Bobo (who is based on Dr. Zin’s other henchman named Simon 1) are both voiced by Christopher Corey Smith

Theater of the Doomed is one of my favorite episodes, the reveal at the end with Porto destroying Crystal Cove is bonkers.

At this point Avacados has as close to a right to be a villain as one can get. Man has repeatedly gotten his life messed up in this Damned town while being suspected repeatedly for someone else's crimes. It has gotten to the point where the best job he can get is as a janitor for a theatrical production that was staffed by convicts performing community service under the direction of a horror host half-has-been who's doing this for exposure.
Sadly no physical extraterrestrials, just a biohazard that may entitle the health department to get the blow torches to destroy the containing desk and fine Sheriff Stone through every hole he's got for keeping oysters in his desk.

Unpopular Opinion: it might've been just a filler episode but I kinda liked this crossover more than the Dream Scooby had with all the other Hanna Barbera characters. Hell, I think I even liked THIS crossover episode with Scooby Doo and Mystery Inc, with Blue Falcon, and Dynomutt MORE than the movie Scoob! 🐾

I'm still disappointed that there wasn't any real crossover between Johnny Quest and Scooby Doo. Just the brief appearances and mentions of we got. Especially with the tone of Mystery Incorporated being a good fit for Johnny Quest. It seems like a huge wasted opportunity, especially after the dream crossover with the other mystery solving mascots.

God I remember when that Nabiru shit was spreading more and more a few years ago, that shit gave me a headache. Yes absolutely once it got close enough it would affect our tides and other things. People were saying it was gonna hit us all the way up until the imaginary date they were shouting, forgetting astrophysics and astronomers would know it was coming and be able to detect it months and months ahead of time, but we can see mars which is smaller than Earth. Enough to see that it's a different color than other stars, and it's like 6 months away by out current tech. It would be the brightest and largest thing in the night sky LONG before the date it was supposed to hit. Yet people clung to that belief just like the Mayan calendar shit. It would also increase in size and brightness as it got closer. I love science and astrophysics so every time I heard it being spouted it made me wanna throw up.
