This might be a bit late but I would recommend a fish tank. 40 gallon is what most people recommend but if a glass tank is too expensive you could also use a plastic storage bin of the same size. Just make sure you add mesh to the lid and one of the sides so there is plenty of air
Yeah- I spent 6 whole minutes watching a hamster instead of doing my chores, and I do not regret it one bit. I also LOVE hamsters and make funny videos with them on my UA-cam channel!
