It’s 12:32 AM as I write this post. I have enjoyed listening to many a person play with great talent and hold each one in high regards as the spirit moved me to sing, and hum as they played. I feel so sad that the young youth who says only sing the newer contemporary songs in church are losing to awesome spiritual high in worship. I once was like that I couldn't understand why we never sang oh how I love Jesus, because He lives, It's the old ship of Zion, Majesty and many other great song. I was told it wasn't in the hymn book and we sing only out of the hymnal song book. Now I do love singing the hymns of faith, and the church is losing an important part by being so narrow minded but are we going to lose out when we stop singing Amazing Grace. Because its an old song. I once was told and I believe its true. “Songs that are from God will last the test of time, because it has a meaning. To some its a heritage to those who know it well the lyrics have a heritage to us. Not that the new songs don’t have God finger on it. It hasn’t had the test of time to get founded correctly in the life of the church.” You see in my humble opinion the hardest job in the church is the song director. Its there job to help lead the whole church young and old. Into worship so that the preacher can give the word to the church and all can say that what a service. How God came down. Just because a selected few danced in the Spirit you can’t say the church had church. When I was music director, Those who raised their hands were just as important while they could not stand long was enjoying the service. I felt that I had heard from God on picking out the songs to sing. You don’t toss the baby out the window when getting the dirty water out the house. I've never understood that saying. Some might say I don’t get your point. OG. Well as you grow older in the Lord and you say these song that we sing now just don’t do a thing for me. Just rememebr this post and then you might get it then. If the Lord hasn’t come, by then I’ll be dead many years and you can’t say to me He was a smart old man. Because I will be in heaven rejoicing in the Lord sing a new song that the angels can never sing.

I’m listening to this Monday night as I finish the dishes and fold the laundry. Such beautiful and relaxing music to do these chores to! Thank you so much for sharing your talents and your peace with us. I also like how you change the things on top of the piano and the pictures to create a theme…Til the Storm Passes By and Sheltered Safe Within the Arms of God..I really loved It is Well with my Soul. Thanks again and God bless you and your family! I enjoyed hearing your husband humming and singing in the background. I was doing that too!

I love your music even though I worship Yeshua and Yahweh and not Jesus and God

Same, right? Yeshua = Jesus. Yahweh = Jehovah = the eternal, covenant God who keeps promises!
