      I don't know about the aviation applications, but in the original automotive application they came with carburetors either normally aspirated or turbo charged.

      W.Wynne is rather adamant on using proven standard aircraft carbs. Aircraft-Reliable 6-cylinder digital fuel injection systems cost more than the Corvair engine build. WW's mantra is simplicity.
