I haven't been able to see much of the series due to T.V. scheduling in my area and not able to get many channels. Oval tracks like this are great to watch. As good as any tight competition on a road course. The way the drivers and most everyone handled themselves with what was given is something to marvel. I've been watching this series since before 2000's. I've enjoyed the goods and bad of speedway racing in indycars. Shame the series isn't keeping them. They've become less and lesser in a season. It's to the point where the Indianapolis 500 is the only big one on the schedule and it doesn't help for testing when there's nothing to support it. Especially in safety precautions which any racing sport can benefit from proper experimenting and implementation. There's no such thing as too much safety. This pack racing seemed to me was the result of tires and aero kits that bunched everyone up. In the end. The drivers looked to have had good setups to drive safely and performed their jobs superbly.

You can have separation and have good racing. Modern IndyCars get that balance about right at places like Texas and Indy. There's enough of a difference between cars that you don't have this separation but also better cars can pull away from worse cars. This race is essentially running the lottery. You get in the tow, you stay with the leader. Simple as that.

This race was the race everyone said reminded them of 2011 Vegas. An identical package on a much bigger track. Looking back wirh rose colored glasses and having watched Dans last race live, it pains me to think this, but what if Danicas/Dans last Indycar race was ran here? Oct 2011 weather nice, a huge track close conditions, 34 cars. Put it here, bring back the legacy and maybe just maybe, a driver loved by all wouldnt have gone too soon😢. Im sorry, that day tarnished a legacy, hurt my love for the sport, and i love Motorsport, but the what could have been man. Ive spoken too much😢💙
As amazing as this (and michigan) was... Im really glad we dont get races like this anymore. It was a miracle nobody was killed that day, or sent to the fence/grandstands.
Billy Bishop because they only go the proper race distance. But they sometimes call a red flag if there's a caution late in the race so they can have a green finish. But in this race the crash happened coming to the white so they had to end it under yellow. But it would be nice to see IndyCar do that but they don't want to go over the race distance.
Because of how dangerous the track is. The past 2 races in 2014 and 2015 have had huge wrecks and 2 flips. This is an amazing track and it was made for IndyCar, but the bad wrecks is what killed this race as well as Pocono. Now we only have 1 500-mile race in IndyCar and that’s the Indy 500. And Pocono is replaced with Richmond which is nice to see. But we honestly need more ovals like this.
This is the Aerokits, Honda and Chevy they used his own specs of Aerokits. This period of Indycar goes from 2015 until 2017, they removed for they packege they produced in the ovals races (this race is an example of that) since this drivers were afraid another Las Vegas would happened and this dead of Justin Wilson in Pocono in 2015 because hit a piece of the Sage Karam car in the head.

I understand Will Power and Cindric concern but who wants to see the cars seperated by 7 or 8 seconds per car that's a snoozer I think it takes more skill to run wheel to wheel and not making mistakes that's why these guys are the best but when it's 20 to go gloves come off this was one of the best races of all time
I have that book also
You can have separation and have good racing. Modern IndyCars get that balance about right at places like Texas and Indy. There's enough of a difference between cars that you don't have this separation but also better cars can pull away from worse cars. This race is essentially running the lottery. You get in the tow, you stay with the leader. Simple as that.
Marco and aj foyt said it best.these racers need to look in the stands and there ratings and understand they need to race the car and be exciting that brings in fans.I know it's dangerous but your racing for God's sake.why wouldn't they keep there concerns amongst themselves and put on a racer face to the cameras and at least act like you enjoy it
Because they looked into the stands and saw they were risking their lives for barely any.
Why did such a minor accident with Castroneves cause such a long caution?
Me gusta la careras en Fontana, California
What a race! We don't see it every day. 3, 4, 5 wide! Insane! Awesome to watch. And great to see Chevys and Hondas running together again.
ps: I dunno if it's possible, but it took a little longer to upload the race. A couple of non-official channels did it first.

Non-official channels are always first to the party, but with all due respect, they don't always give you the best quality.
I like how the broadcasters begin to get giddy about L175.
By no means do i say this as a massacist, but planning of the weekend Killed Wheldon, and its pretty much been proven, my just turned 11 face watched it throughout the weekend. Put it here, bring back the legacy and maybe just maybe, a driver loved by all wouldnt have gone too soon😢. Im sorry, that day tarnished a legacy, hurt my love for the sport, and i love Motorsport, but the what could have been man. Ive spoken too much😢💙
Best Race ever

Paul Tracy "He's PISSED"
As amazing as this (and michigan) was... Im really glad we dont get races like this anymore. It was a miracle nobody was killed that day, or sent to the fence/grandstands.
How come there are no green-white-checkered finishes in Indycar?
Billy Bishop because they only go the proper race distance. But they sometimes call a red flag if there's a caution late in the race so they can have a green finish. But in this race the crash happened coming to the white so they had to end it under yellow. But it would be nice to see IndyCar do that but they don't want to go over the race distance.
And we don't need unnecessary drama this whole race had drama from the green to the checker one of the best indycar races I've ever seen
Very disappointing that this track was removed from the indycar schedule. I thought the race was entertaining.
No one should miss out on indy car racing
This track has been closed in this February and demolition has begun in October.
I've never seen Briscoe did a huge crash at the end with Hunter Ray
Same I've seen them crash before
I like nTT in the car series
Why don’t we race here anymore?
Because of how dangerous the track is. The past 2 races in 2014 and 2015 have had huge wrecks and 2 flips. This is an amazing track and it was made for IndyCar, but the bad wrecks is what killed this race as well as Pocono. Now we only have 1 500-mile race in IndyCar and that’s the Indy 500. And Pocono is replaced with Richmond which is nice to see. But we honestly need more ovals like this.
BH28Racing
I say slow them down more
190mph?
Look at the stands. Empty. That's why.
I started watching in 2021, can anyone tell me why each of the cars appear to have different rear wing packages?
This is the Aerokits, Honda and Chevy they used his own specs of Aerokits. This period of Indycar goes from 2015 until 2017, they removed for they packege they produced in the ovals races (this race is an example of that) since this drivers were afraid another Las Vegas would happened and this dead of Justin Wilson in Pocono in 2015 because hit a piece of the Sage Karam car in the head.
Did you reupload it?
@54:05 Paul Tracy's comment is spot on, but don't tell that to the cry babies:Roger Penske, Tim cendric, Will power oh and a some what politically correct T.K.
muy hermoso espectaculo
