He's right. It's called polyphasic sleep, you can search it up on UA-cam. It's a very effective way to increase REM sleep and decrease overall time slept.

He isn’t right ,aim for 6-8 hours a night If you can’t then, see a Dr because lack of sleep will cause problems in the future

Prophet Muhamed SAW , slept street after isha , a lot of us stay awake until 1 am then say I have to train myself to get 4 hours so I can wake up for fajr or tahhajud. This is nonsense follow the Sunna and get 6-8 hours at night . If you can sleep 1 and half hour or 2 hours after duhr and 6-8 hours at night , believe me it would give you better health . Sleep is the best medicine

Wow. Thank you. I never knew this. I knew it was the sunnah but wasn’t aware modern science had caught up yet.

Alhamdulillah for resting. But sleeping-- I hate it. And death-- I've accepted it. I'm much too geared towards achieving/capitalizing; maximizing on potential gains. So I sleep just enough to keep going strong and get right back at it

For most people 6-7 hrs of sleep is needed to maintain mental health, with this figure substantially higher for kids & lower for elderly people generally.

No they don’t. They’re not superhuman, they sleep and use the toilet just as normal people do.

You mean the doctors whose advice is leading to 74% fat or obesity? Or the sky high diabetes, heart problems, sleep problems, depression, family instability, mental health issues through the roof, 2/3rd of people on some sort of medication, pharmaceutical companies profiting like never before- those doctors? Oh alright. 👍
