Cool video! I've regularly seen tiny ants and tiny aphids on the flowers of a tree and it was full of fruits. It was in a botanical garden (greenhouse) in Europe and they didn't know how they got so many fruits.
Well done Samantha. Please can you tell me which microscope or magnifying lens and their magnification that I can use to clearly observe the "cocoa" midges. Once again, well done.
Hellow Samantha, I was totally taken by your program and agree with you on this matter. I'm from Bougainville PNG where caocao is our main cash crop. I've endevered through the years in finding ways to increase the production of my trees. Could you assist me through your studies. I'm definitely going to begin hand pollination.thank you, and hoping to hear from you soon. Edwin Moses.
Please note that the name of the plant is Theobroma CACAO, not COCOA. This is just a centuries old misspelling in English that persisted. In all other languages only CACAO is used, for every stage of the production cycle. Please also note that there is no such thing as cacao BEANS. The Cacao fruit contains SEEDS. BEANS are produced by legumes, like the soy plant and lentils.
Very nice to see your Chanel. Thanks.
I'm from Indonesia
