My first experience with plastic worm fishing was a Culprit Red worm I the early 1980’s. I still use it. Can’t believe they stopped making the Water Beetle. It looks great but not really available even on EBay. You added it in your video just to make us nuts!
I have a bait that is very similar. Only have like 3 of them and THEY FLAT CATCH FISH. Havent been able to source them anywhere. Never saw the Culprits all though I do use their worms.
Yes as I said unfortunately Culprit discontinued the Water Beetle. It’s definitely a great style of bait, and luckily there are lots of other options out there.
Im really enjoying these presentations of these older/secret baits👏👏👏👏
Excellent! I’m glad you’re enjoying them.
Thid is a Very cool video series. Great idea!
Thank you, I’m glad you’re enjoying it. Lots more to come!

I do see them on there occasionally, but they are certainly not readily available. It’s a mystery to me why Culprit would discontinue them.
Love Culprit worms!
Agreed, another classic bait.
Hey mark I like the increada craw that culprit makes. Culprit makes really nice plastics. God bless ps try the BFE flipping bait from big bite baits.
Thanks Mike….I’ll check that bait out.
