Can someone please confirm me that this first look is historic? Because it opened his 2002 final show, worn by Audrey Marnay, and it would get a whole other meaning if it had also been his first ever ensemble shown under his name

Andrew Dock Yes, of course it is a movie, but based on facts, so I wanted to know whether that first look really was the first look in his first collection in reality, back in the 60s

Saint Laurent (1960) decision to interpret this youthful street fashion in expensive materials caused a upset at Dior . His left Bank "Beat Look" included Black Leather suits and coats. Knitted caps high turtle neck collars and biker style Jackets in mink and crocodile skin. He also showed the puff ball silhouette shortened and accentuated around the thighs and the full skirted Infanta line .
American Vogue was shocked and complaned that Saint Laurent collection for Dior was " designed for very young women ... who expect to change the line with frequency and rapidity and who are possessed of superb legs and slim , young Goddess figures."
