I got a cheap dress form that was adjustable. After making it the same measurements as me, I was also like omg twins! It’s so strange and cool seeing sth be the exact same shape as you.
Honestly this makes me so excited too. Because I remember the first time I ever got a dress form and I was so excited. I'm so bummed though because like 5 years ago when we move down to Florida I had one of those ones that like you could have just the sizes and it was perfect because it just almost went up to my size it was like two sizes too small but it was like almost perfect. But it was really bummed because when we moved to Florida didn't have a whole lot of room when it came to packing s*** in the van and I guess she somehow got crushed and I had no way of fixing her because the pole like broke off of it completely and like parts of it were bent and just there was no way to fix it and it makes me really sad it was the very first dress form I ever had. So I would like to try to get another one in the future
It's really hard to figure out how things are supposed to fit when your figure is thicc but thin and has a slightly chubby belly. 😂 I want to learn how to sew since I'm a medium but my chest makes me sort of a large to feel comfortable and it's really hard to find clothes that fit well. 😅
I bought a cheap styrofoam dress form and used 1/4 inch sheet foam to upsize it to my exact measurements all over. The form also conveniently had a second hole on the bottom which I McGyvered with some pvc plates and fittings to mount the pole for use with pants. I just have to make a leg and arm to complete the entire project. Her name is Delores.
Just went and checked out the site… the Penelope in medium is so close to my own size just need to pad the waist and bum a bit… low key making me want to spend more money… 😭
My never gave with slopper and I paid full price without the head and legs. Can you post the slopper online so others can get access to print it. I asked royal dress form if they can send me the slopper for that form and they said no because I made my purchase 5 years again. How unprofessional 😒
