Alexandra Fedorovna was a great,a strong woman.When she was a little girl everyone called her SUNNY for her happy disposition.But she had suffered the loss of her little brother from haemophilia.Then,when she was six years old lost her little sister and her 35year old mother from diphtheria.Later ,when she married with Nicolas, unfortunately for Alexandra the perception of her at court and among the Russian people started off on a bad footing and never recovered the lost ground.She was the German woman.In the end Alexandra was in deep sorrow discovering that her only son had the incurable disease of haemophilia.She lived thirteen years in false hope of Alexey's recovery and it waswhich destroyed her utterly.Alexandra during the war did a lot of things for Russia.She threw herself into charity work,organised St Petersburg's hospital system, rehabilitation centres for the wounded abd involved herself in women's nursing training and the supply of medicines and linen.She distributed thousands of bibles and psalters to the troops.She exhausted hersekf nursing the children when one by one were laid low with measles in 1917.She was dressed in Red Cross uniform..Yes,she was great🥀
