Hey Joel
Hey man I love your channel and this is just constructive criticism, but that picture on your home page isn’t a good look. It’s very awkward and looks like some type of porn.
I bet UA-cam feels the same way and you’d probably be deemed more advertiser friendly with something different. Either way, good luck and keep up the great videos 👍
Ooh I want a pair of vessi, I love these kind of shoes and the fact that they're waterproof is a big help down here in Florida doing raining season LOL.
Not at $165.00
Thanks Joel, I just bought a pair of shoes and mask using your code. Cheers
Im from Cincinnati Ohio... It's so funny to hear people talk about chilli on spaghetti, because it's so normal to us!!!
lolol
I was just in Cincinnati and am so mad I never went to skyline chili... the zoo was incredible though!
Well, you have to have some kind of compensation for having to live in Ohio.
More chilli on top
I'm not too far from you i never care for the chilli spaghetti it ok
You know the restaurant is serious when they pull out the nuclear clock.
😂😂😂😂😂
LMFAO
Lol it's a standard kitchen timer but nevertheless funny
Hate it when the protection falls off halfway through. 😄😄
Another job well done.
lol
Columbus Native for 28yrs here. Cinci Chill uses cinnamon and is a tab bit sweeter than your normal chili, It is a thinner chili kinda like hot dog chili.
For those curious a
3 Way is Pasta, Chili and cheese.
4 Way is Pasta,Chili,Cheese and Diced onions.
5 way is Pasta,Chili,Cheese, Diced Onions and Beans.
Bro I live in Cincinnati I can't believe you're a blue, I would have loved to watch you. People in Cincinnati love their Cincinnati style chili, I really hope you enjoyed it.
💯💯💯
My mother in law is from Cincinnati, I remember being invited over for dinner when we were first dating. She said moms making chili, so you can imagine a 19yo Southern California boys reaction when it was served on spaghetti lol. I did enjoy it though, was pleasantly surprised.
I’m from Cali too and my husband is from Cincinnati. Same thing happened to me 😂 I was 18. When she said she was making chili for dinner is was so excited for Texas style chili. Boy was I confused 😂
M
I move to Cincinnati from Florida 17 years ago and omg chili and spaghetti is awesome. I love it when the cheese is cold it has a much different texture than the garbage in the stores. Goldstar for me. If I would've know you were here I would've come watched
I am from Northern Kentucky, about 20 minutes away from Cincinnati. I grew up eatting Skyline Chili and Gold Star Chili. My favorite things to get there are cheese coneys, a 4-way (you can choose onions or beans, I get onions... A 5-way comes with both), Chili Cheese fries or something that they call a chilito at Skyline and a gorito at Gold Star... Chilitos and Goritos are basically chili, sour cream, cheese and pasta (which is optional) wrapped in a tortilla. I love Cincinnati chili!
That sounds really good right now haven't had breakfast ÿet
You go Joel you're a good man much love
💯💯💯💯
Grow up in Wisconsin, love cheese. Lived in Cincy area in the 80's, love Cincy Chilly. Now in the southwest. Peppers! Yum!
Dude they gave you an hour for that chilli and the video is only 13 minutes I knew you crushed it before I watch. 🤣🤣🤣 You are the best food eater on youtube. Much respect!
:)
He is an amazing eater and Joel is certainly in my top 4. Geoff, Molly, Dan and Joel are my top 4 in no specific order. I have commented on several of their YT channels that it would be epic to see a duo pizza challenge with Molly and Joel versus Geoff and Dan
@@tombreault1096 yes hellyeah I'd pay 4 that
Don't forget the beard
Joel is really good... Especially for quantity. I would like to see some of these UA-cam personalities get together and do a mega challenge between all of them... Include guys like Beard Meets food and Gals like Katina eats Kilos... Do like a 14-15 lber. Have prizes for who can eat 2lbs the fastest, and then who can Eat the most total.. I dunno... Sure someone could come up with a bracket and everyone agree to it... Propose it to UA-cam for prize money and everyone can film on their own channel and be paid for each others prospectives...
OMG!!! I WANNA DO THIS!!!!! Stay awesome buddy!
Thanks my man! It was memorable. Hope to cross paths soon!
Some people might not understand but watching Joel destroy these IMPOSSIBLE challenges is very inspiring to me.
I feel more confident to tackle my own challenges in life when I see someone like Joel destroy the way he does.
Thanks for the drive and motivation Joel!!!
Joel I love that you came to cincy for Blue ash Chili’s challenge. There are 3 locations and they were originally know for double and triple decker sandwiches. Cincinnati chili is an old Greek recipe that does include nutmeg clove cinnamon and even chocolate. It’s a huge rivalry which chili parlor you eat at there are more than 25 different companies that sell it in the area.
Skyline and Gold Star chili is my favorite!! I grew up on that chilli. Everytime I go to visit I have to get myself a 3 way!! Glad to hear you enjoyed it!! The Coneys are really good too!!
Mmm 3 way and some garlic chedder bread and a coney
Its technically a mediterranean chili which is why its different than tex-mex chili and you are correct about the winter spices. It definitely has cinnamon in it and I also think it has nutmeg.
Side note... even though Im from Cincy and prefer this chili over spaghetti I also really like texmex chili over spaghetti. Its different but still amazing.
Also, just in case
3 way = spaghetti chili and cheese
4 way = spaghetti, chili, cheese, and beans OR onions
5 way = spaghetti, chili, cheese, beans and onions.
Correct. The 4 way can have either red beans or onions (Gold Star, Skyline, and Blue Ash Chili all feature it). Also, I think the story behind the "6 way" was that their competition had a 5 way, so they had to top them.
FYI: This far north, meaning the Dayton area, Skyline tends to dominate, while Gold Star seems more popular further south. Blue Ash has just the three locations, but they are also quite popular.
This is correct. They also slip some chocolate (of all things) in there too. There are several smaller competing shops sprinkled throughout the area, so while 4/5 way (beans/onions) is consistent, 6 way could be jalapeno caps, garlic, or something else, depending on the establishment.
With the jalapeño caps Blue ash calls it a 6 way.
The Vessi discount is clutch. I’ve been wanting a pair for at least a year. Now my birthday is next week and that generous code made it an easy gift. Free shipping too.
@NYslice. Happy Early Birthday. Mine is 9/7. Hope you have a great one. And which style did you get? Those weekend ones are very stylish 😎
@@DivaDen Thanks and happy September to you! I liked the laced ones but I may go with the loafers all black. they don't look like a sock shoe
I love when youtubers leave in the clip of getting their thumbnail…cracks me up 🤣😂 Great job per usual👏🏽 next thing for me to try is chili on spaghetti
You will love it!! Make sure you put shredded cheese on it.
I've had it and OMG loved it!!! I had the 5 way spaghetti, beans, cheese, chili and onions!!! Mine wasn't 8 or 9 pounds but OMG it filled the up to the rim. I want to try it again with those jalapeno bottle caps. I LOVE me some spicy food!!!
So impressed with Joel using utensils this time
I live in Northern Kentucky and I grew up on Cincinnati chili. I didn’t know, until I was an adult, that it was considered a weird combo outside this area.
Joel what western food would be a challenge you wouldn’t even want to try?
not sure
Giving Joel an hour. WTF..ya know he will hammer a restaurant full total menu in that time..😀
:) hope you enjoyed the video. have you had a dish like this?
@@JoelHansen I 💘 cheese on my 🍝+🧀=😍.
I'm from Portsmouth, Ohio but went to Barber college in Cincinnati. I lived on Skyline and to this day love it. I grew up visiting my sister in Blue Ash.
I love how committed you are to the camera and aren't distracted by all the staff gaga
Im from California and local eatery Coaches Bar and Grille in Seal Beach has served chilli over spaghetti for years. Its delicious!
Seal Beach is awesome.
Probably from ohio!! Lol
I live in Cincy, it's a good Chili, but personally, I prefer Gold Star Chili. Only native to Southern Ohio. The flavor blows Cincinnatti Style out of the water. Same looks and everything, just better flavor. Sucks I missed this, would've taken off work to cheer you on man. Hope you visit again.
I agree Gold Star
Over SKYLINE..
do you thinjk he has to take doculax or something after these,?
Local here & I 2nd this
I’m in Cincinnati too and I agree!!
Looked disgusting.
You ARE amazing Joel! Period!
I love Cincinnati chili! I'm so glad you did this video... 👍
I didn't know they had the jalapeno toppers tho! I will have to get some the next time I'm in Cincinnati for sure! Absolutely amazing Joel! 🤗
It would be interesting to see you start bringing mini-scale with you. Lol. Keep em honest.
I literally thought of this too when he mentioned the weight!!
True
Damn I saw all that cheese and thought you might have a tough go at it! Way to dominate brotha!
:) hope you enjoyed the video. have you had a dish like this?
@@JoelHansen indeed! It's awesome I actually attempted this challenge and failed miserably. Ha!
Heck yes!!!! Finally in my hometown!!! I have been waiting for this video!!!
Awesome 👍. We love Cincinnati chili make it at home. Yum. Great job Joel👊
I'm glad you enjoyed our chili, Joel. It is an acquired taste, you either love it or you hate it. I think that's one challenge I could actually take down as I love me some Cincinnati-style chili. Well done man!
Did you know Gold star chili lost their sponsorship with the Bengals to Skyline chili after 23 yrs,Joe Burrow is on a youtube video saying he hates skyline chili.
Joel, first of all, you're amazing! Second, you need a custom set of utensils that you can bring to events. For example, if you had a wider spoon/spork/shovel for the end there, you would have finished much quicker! Thanks for the vids! Lots of fun to watch.
Wow. This one was impressive! Good job my friend, thank you for the great videos!!!
Dude, now I have to make chili for the weekend and college football.
Go Irish!
@@soinlove6889 go IRISH.
If Molly did that in 5 minutes, she must have just tipped up the tray and drank it. Another great victory for you Joel!
lol
thanks!
Well, she has retractable jaws, so….
Not a nice sight to watch though
I've had different types of chili from Cincinnati and alot had cinnamon in it, not a big fan of that taste. Glad you killed it as usual. When I make a pot of chili at home I add spaghetti to it. We had a big family and it went further with the sketti in it.
Grew up in Cincy and I love this stuff. Cheese coneys are excellent as well. Every time I go back, I definitely make sure I get my 3-way and cheese coney fix.
Your video clips of you making faces for your thumbnail always cracks me up! 🤣
That looks delicious, never tried it but I usually put mounds of cheese and some hot sauce on my spaghetti at home 🙂 congrats on getting through that, man, excellent vids 👍
I live in New Zealand and made my own a few months ago, it was delicious! Hmm, I'm going to go get the ingredients on my lunch break and cook another tonight!
You can get Cincinnati style chill spice package ship to you.
Wowzers!! That was amazing. Not surprised at all though...
#TeamJoel 🥰
Cool video Joel love all the food challenges
I'm from Cincinnati and I've been to that location multiple times, to the point that when I saw the first shot, I knew which location it was lol. I don't know if I've tried their chili but their chicken and waffles are pretty tasty
I love Skyline chili but it is absolutely a diversion from the Texas red that I make and grew up with. The allspice and clove set it apart for sure. I give them props for not adding beans!
I'm from Texas too! No beans!
Skyline 💩
I love when you posing 🤣🤣🤣
wacky face 🤣🤣🤣
plus the back ground music 🤣🤣🤣
Pleasure Joel.. Enjoy.. #Dontknockittillutryit. Blessings.. U killed it as usual.. 🎯🐞
Cincinnatian stand-up!!!🤟🏽🤟🏽🤟🏽 but Blue Ash chili nasty GO TO SKYLINE, GOLDSTAR then CAMP WASHINGTON CHILI in that order!!!
:) hope you enjoyed the video.
"Always use protection"
You don't want any accidents and you don't wanna be an accident😂😂😂
Wow! Iam very impressed. That chili and spaghetti look delicious 😋💜💜💜
Need to go to camp chili but thank you for coming to Ohio, Cincinnati love the videos you upload
I can't believe I missed you coming to my city😔😔😔 glad you enjoyed the chili though I love it but I make from scratch so mine is thicker and I also love plenty of cheese on it as well 😋 ☺ 😊
4:53
Joel's best advice.
😆🤣😂
6:15
Joel you lost your protection. Don't make a Booboo.
;p
Wow that is an interesting spaghetti dish, love all the toppings. Thanks Joel you rock!! ✌️😁💯🌹
Congrats on 300k subs Joel, killing it. "Always use protection" LOL!
Well done, good sir! I'm from Iceland and spaghetti bolognese w. lots of chilis & cheese is one of my favorite home-cooked meals. Stay warm (sorry - puns indeed intended). Stay safe, fellow Spaceling. Cheers from 101 Reykjavík.
I've had this chili before but never with jalapeño tops like that which I think would be great....
Whoa!
Joel, that was AWESOME!
I’d probably take 4 or 5 bites and say….I’m full!
Great video! Keep em coming!
That was impressive, Joel ❤️ amazing
Skyline chilli is awesome. Good job. I always got mine 5 ways. Its actually a Greek recipe. I'm not kidding it has chocolate in it cinnamon cumin. And others spices. Crazy right. ;)
interesting! thanks
Skyline>goldstar lol
I sooooo love the way he stuffs all of that yummy looking chilli spaghetti in his mouth (damn it looks good) and then he so eloquently and gentlemanly wipes the corners of his mouth. Just so awesome to watch in these unreal challenges!! Great job as usual Joel!!!
Bro you’re dope you finish everybody food challenge! 💰💰💪🏽
The way you started, I thought you would finish the challenge in under 5-minutes, thus beating Ms. Molly's record. But still finishing in under 8-min is unbelievable.
I love Cincy chili. I moved but still live a few hours away. They sell it in cans too. Love the flavor. Cinnamon gives it that unique "something".
Having grown up just north of Cincy, and now living in FL, I miss Cincinnati chili soooo much! It's a must every time we visit back home. Usually at Gold Star or Skyline Chili. A five way is the chili, spag, cheese, onion and bean. Super good. Loved this vid!
Gotta have someone send you chili packets so you can make some whenever you want!
@@melissamarin6419 I think you may be able to get gold star packets from Amazon?
They sell frozen Skyline chili here, so we will sometimes make some 3 ways with it. It's good but nowhere near the same.
-Not a big cheese fan.
-Fought through more spice than one man should have to.
-Takes on a cheesy chilli challenge.
Joel is the hero we need…
LOLOL
You can literally kill beardmeetsfood food and randy santell combined. You're a freaking beast bro. You are naturally talented.
🤣🤣🤣🤣 Keep dreaming
@@doggstarr77 There's a video where Joel and Beard are together. Joel hammered him and politely slowed down so Beard could save face.
Giving Joel an hour is crazy He is clearly the best eater on UA-cam
Him and Randy Santel
Amazing as Always Joel...You are THE MAN!! Much Love always...stay Blessed🔥💪🤗💜🙏
What's up Joel. I'm from Cincinnati but moved away a few years ago. Just now seeing this video somehow and it was nice to see and hear how you enjoyed the Cincinnati taste. Took me home man. Keep doing you bro.
Really enjoy your vids Joel, your and Adam's (Beard meets food) channels are the very best food vids. Thank you for great content brother !!
i use ground beef, ragu chunky garden style, tomato sauce, slight amount of ketchup, onions, garlic, green peppers, green olives, tomatoes, cumin, oregano, bahdia all purpose seasoning, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper. (veggies chopped into small chunks like if they were going on a pizza), stir fry all veggies in olive oil along with the seasonings, then add ground beef, stir well, add cooking wine, let some of the liquid boil off, then add the tomato sauce, ragu, ketchup, let it simmer until it thickens a bit, then serve over spaghetti or rice. this is an old family recipe, you're welcome 😊
That was great Joel. I thought this would stay undefeated when I saw all that spaghetti and cheese. Great job!
The video portion of you striking shock poses for your thumbnail always cracks me up lol
:)
I love all the videos I've seen of yours. You do tend to repeat yourself about everything at least 4 times though lmao
Love your videos, Joel! Peace and blessings.
thanks! have you had a dish like this?
Been looking for a new pair of shoes I'm going to give this a try on your recommendation Joel
Great video! Those shoes looks nice! Way to eat all that food! Your a beast!!
Bob’s Big Boy has what they call a “Chilisize.” It has spaghetti, chili, a hammer patty and cheese. Human size, as large as this behemoth.
Knew you could do it easily. Really professional. Brilliant execution. X
Hey Joel!!! Very impressive I'm from Cincinnati and you went through it congrats!!!
This was so fun to watch thank you!
Nailed it. "yes that's right" Nailed it... 🤣🤣🤣
Loved it, made me hungry looked very easy for U. Maybe I could do something like that, but need garlic bread to cool down the peppers. Great job
GREAT JOB BUDDY ,,it's wild how much faster your eating now compared to your first vids , you've improved big time take care buddy
Great job!!💪🏾😋
Great work Joel!!
Great Job Joel!❤👏🧡👏
I lived in the Cincinnati area for 40 years and Skyline, GoldStar and Blue Ash Chili were my favorites, probably eating 3 ways and cheese coney couple times a week. I have taken people there for their first time and it’s strange, they either love it or hate it, no in betweens. You’ll find out how much you love it if you move away, which I did. Enjoyed you video.
Your videos make me so hungry! I am making chili and spaghetti now lol. Just not 8 lbs of it. Cheers from Calgary!
Joel I glad you enjoyed it. That was awesome lot's of cheese. Nothing but love for you. 🥰🥰🥰
There are two types of Cincinnati Chili. One uses Cinnamon and the other uses nutmeg. I am not sure which one Blue Ash Chili uses, but I do love their chili. Glad you enjoyed it and I love your videos, bother!
Awesome bonus soundtrack at the end of the video
Ok Joel you convinced me. I need to try it!
Wow u make it look so delicious ...new fan much love and support from Cape Town South Africa
Joel Congratulations On Another Win 👍👍👍👍 CC
Must have cheese please lol
Looks so yummy ....
It was too easy for ya JH & RH
Be safe
Joel has never lost a challenge. He destroyed this one. Congrats
