At least this frame is still available in a rim brake version, and in the preferable direct mount style. Disc brakes are complete overkill for a lightweight road bike. Prices of mainstream components in Aus have been insane for 2 years so never a better time to explore off brand gear that works and lasts.
Nice storyboard format Joe with a good balance between the bike, the parts (we need Taobao just like we have Ali) and your personal journey so far with various SLCs you've had. Nice to see you back posting!
Completely agree with you on the direct mount brakes. I used direct mount 105 on my unbranded road bike build. Thanks for the comment and producing a good quality video! However, I had a different purchasing experience than you. I’m totally unsatisfied along the journey since I convinced with all the reviews from your channel and decided to purchase frameset from local dealer. First, it was taking them 2months to arrive but I heard from them usually it takes only 2-3 weeks. I can feel that the dealer literally want to push for one size XS for stock clearance. I already told him many times I owned a Caad12 in size 48 (geo similar to size 47 for SLC 2.0) and size work for me too. The first shipment is scheduled at mid Feb but he claimed the manufacturer didn’t ship the size S and keep pushing me for size XS again. I insist. Finally, the frames has arrived last Friday, I go and pick it up. I immediately sent the frames to my mechanic for bike setup. They have identified several serious quality issues, which could lead to unsafe. So, they are refrain from setting up for me. First, there is no gap between fork and frames even we have inserted the bearing as provided. Each is touching with each other. Also the bearing has 45 degree angle which the fork is in L shape. It is not evenly taking the load and impact which may causing the crack. Next, the hole for place the bearing is much larger than the edge of the bearing. It is not fitted and it may causing the bearing moving around and damaging the frame. The same issue we found on the upper headset, the surface to hold the is not flat. There is a certificate tag signed and chop by the Winspace Ltd. How can such problems persisted and what are they QA dept doing??? I and really concern with other buyers. The cassette should be on AliExpress, "SROAD Cassette" should find it. The bars I don't publicly recommend. I've been to their factory and there was no quality control of incoming goods / materials. Things like this I think maybe you have a very small chance of it going wrong - so I feel fine using it myself. But recommending it to 40,000 people, that's a totally different ball game. Also, because there's no branding on the bar, it means you don't know if you're getting the same as me, or something that just looks the same. The crank - I don't think it's released yet. They had some problems with earlier production and are working on it the last I heard.

How do you like it compared to your Allez Sprint? Better more fun, etc. I am also thinking on using r7000 mechanical rim brake group set and some average carbon wheels. What is the total weight of your bike?
@@ChinaCycling how do u think about the stiffness between these frame? I read some comments said SLC2.0 have some issue(tires contact with fork under high power)
@China Cycling I just got my super light black SLC 2.0 in frame size 470 and it came in at 812g ☹️ Website says 780g minus 50 for the medium. Mine is a small which should've come in way lighter. Also the fork came in at 399g. Disappointed
The weight is unpainted and +/- 50g. Even the super light has some primer, clear coat, decals on it. And whenever sth says +/- x grams you can basically just go to the + side. They usually dont get these numbers in a statistical correct way :). So assuming ~60g paint: 780 + 50 + 60 = 890. so yours is for sure with in tollerance.
Nice to see a new vid, you've been missed. Just in case you see this Joe. Do you still use you're little osmo camera, would you recommend them? I was thinking about buying one and you were the first person I saw with one.
Ah~ I'm biased...haha. I think the Vanyar is a little lighter (depends on paint job) but I think the SLC handles better (especially on descents) not sure if due to stiffness, geometry, or both.
Air freight costs these days are crazy. X_X As Winspace get bigger economies of scale give them more shipping options though, which is why at the moment frames still have free shipping.

How it feels on the flat if using 40-50mm wheels? Im looking for all round frame but Winspace advise T1300 frame is already discontinued
Hi compare to ELVES Vanyar Carbon frame ? What do you think ?
Where can we buy the Chinese bike parts you listed? Like the saddle and seat post?
Is that a 50/34 crankset? Beautiful build...Thanks for the video. 💯
Yes it is! Spin to win!
38mm por 50mm rim brake ???
Suprised this doesn't get more exposure in the British hill climb scene.
@China Cycling I just got my super light black SLC 2.0 in frame size 470 and it came in at 812g ☹️
Website says 780g minus 50 for the medium.
But yeah. Fork is quite heavy for how small it is...
Hi mate.. nice vid! Where can I find that SkyPivot crankset site? Been searching for it.. thanks
Nice to see a new vid, you've been missed.
Just in case you see this Joe.
Do you still use you're little osmo camera, would you recommend them? I was thinking about buying one and you were the first person I saw with one.
SLC or TCR advanced SL?
sz of the frame and ur height? Thank you! ☺
Does the SLC2.0 frameset allow for DI2 electronic groupset?
Yes. I am using that.
I need to know where you can buy a pair of CC eeBrakes for $300
When is Shanghai bike show 2022?
How does it compare to the elves vanyar
Ah~ I'm biased...haha. I think the Vanyar is a little lighter (depends on paint job) but I think the SLC handles better (especially on descents) not sure if due to stiffness, geometry, or both.
They just a company selling painting job!not much technic
Impressive bike, I think that the main issue today is the transport cost, this will affect us as final buyers. 😢 but what a bike.
Air freight costs these days are crazy. X_X As Winspace get bigger economies of scale give them more shipping options though, which is why at the moment frames still have free shipping.
Is there any more colours coming 2022?
Just as soon as I can find my neon colouring crayons.
hey, do you have some link where to buy crank Skypivot? I am searching I can not find anything. :( It looks very good.
Do one that can take rim breaks and a 35mm tire and it would be a world beater.
Hey Joe! I'm looking to build my own SLC 2.0 in super light black. I wanted to know what the lightest headset I can pair it up with ? I don't have the frameset in hand so I can't really shop around. I'm looking to get ahead and ask you directly
