    where do you park your bike and what safety precaution do you take?

    • @doombu
      @doombu  Рік тому

      we stayed at Swiss Garden Hotel, i parked there. but as i understand this parking is shared with mall parking, so i'm not sure how it''s safe. Last weekend i was in Malacca again. I stayed at Ibis hotel, they have their small outdoor parking for guest's motorcycles but still it's part of big public parking. But there were few sg bikes, so ppl trust this parking. Also some bikes were covered with cover. I recommend to book hotels with private parking, booking.com or agoda have such info. Also when you leave bike in city to go for food or shopping try keep an eye on it.

    whats your cruising speed for this trip? Planning to take my FZ16 up soon

    • @doombu
      @doombu  Рік тому

      Cruising speed is around 95-100 for highway without heavy traffic. Without pillion it should be a little faster.

    Wow I always wondered if my xsr can do this kind of trips , what charger are you using for your phone ? Also any tips bro ? Thanks

    • @doombu
      @doombu  Рік тому

      I'm sure xsr can do such trips and even more without any issues. More problem is back pain :) Just take a rest every 1-2 hours for 5-10 minutes, drink water and everything should be fine.

      About charger - I asked my shop to install 2 usb ports to handlebar, so I just used it for charging.

    how long did it take you to go there from sg?

    • @doombu
      @doombu  Рік тому +1

      i started at 2pm from my home and at 8pm i was in the hotel. Made few stops during the ride. Return trip was much longer because i didn't use highway and visited few points.

    Also do you completely rely on gps to get your way around?

    • @doombu
      @doombu  Рік тому

      If i don't know the area I always rely on gps. I use google maps. If I don't want to ride highway I switch it off in navigation settings. Also sometimes I see that google maps' route for cars is shorter and faster then for motorcycles, so I use it. Ride safe!
