- A very special travel vlog indeed! Welcome to this New Year's Eve Sydney vlog where I have documented for your reference and entertainment of course (!), my New Year's Eve experience in Sydney, Australia. And there is no doubt about it, THIS is the best place in the World to spend New Year's Eve!
Whether by mistake or not, I booked one of the most expensive and exclusive, if not THE most expensive party in Sydney for New Year's Eve - Opera Bar New Year's Eve party!
This meant that in the day I had the freedom and luxury to wander around the city and so for you guys it means a full detailed review of the best free viewpoints in the city, what time you should get there for and the arrangements for the day!
When I was researching my trip to Sydney there was not a lot of information that I could find regarding the actual day and the best places to be. I will be honest and that is most of the viewpoints are amazing and you will not miss anything from any of them. However, there are some viewpoints such as Mrs Macquaries point that offer a perfect view with the entire harbour, the bridge and opera house in one shot. But watch the video to learn more about that and what time you would need to get there to avoid disappointment!
Then onto the actual night! And simply WOW! I still have no words. Watch for yourself. Enjoy! And if you are watching this, this is your sign! Do something for NYE whether that is going to watch your local fireworks or going abroad. I promise you won't regret it!

The Rocks is closer to the southern pylons and up the hill nearby. It’s where the convicts were held and also the supply stores for the community.

They won’t let you in once it’s full, because they want to protect everyone and keep them safe. Overcrowding can lead to crushing and even deaths. We are always concerned with public safety at events.

9pm is so that families with little kids can head home and put them to bed in time to watch the midnight show on TV.

At Mrs Macquarie's point, one year I waited 5 hours in a line to get in. Another common way to view the fireworks that Ameer didn't mention is booking a hotel. 3-5k for the cost and usually all taken by the time it's NYE. Opera Bar is actually the best option because you don't have to pay as much for a hotel and the free spots you don't even guarantee you a good viewing spot even if you get in.

@@PrinzameerTravels It's only worth it for the people who start very early or camp the day before. People have started at 9am and still had to be in the sun during 30+ degree Summer heat.

Which Kadak Chai is the nicest? Nicest as in aromatic and smooth flavour.
*karak chai is a type of tea with cardamom. It's very nice and smooth but quite strong. Kashmiri chai is also very nice and slightly sweeter both are good options
@@PrinzameerTravels Ah, I thought you said Kadak Chai. It’s a brand here in Australia and they have several styles of chai. My usual Chai comes from T2 Tea shop.
