There's a story about a photography class where the professor told half the class their grade was based on the how many pictures they took and the other half their entire grade was based on a single image at the end of the semester. Even though the single image group studied and planned out the best composition their images weren't as compelling as those who spent the semester taking a high volume of images. Moral of the story: get out the and make something.
That's an awesome story Bruce Lee always said that he feared the man who practice one ticket thousand times more than he did the man who practiced 10000 kicks one time and I always think about that quote when it comes to putting in your 10,000 hours work in the basics until you get a Mastery of it
