Maymay thank you for showing us how to use this punch board. And yes, please show us your other ideas! Using a decorative punch on the top edge would be super cute too, I do that a lot of the store bought ones or the ones I make the "old fashion way". Thanks again.
I bought one of these when they first became available. I use it all of the time for making gift bags from designer series paper. I love it! Thank you for your excellent tutorial.
Thank you so much for demonstrating and mostly explaining how to use the We R Memory Keepers Gift Bag Board in easy-to-understand instructions. Before finding your video, I was ready to toss out my Board. I agree with another comment - the "official" We R Memory Keepers video is too confusing, too fast with demonstration. Some of us who craft, need instructions in a friendly format, plain-English. Now, I'm ready to conquer my first gift bag - I truly appreciated your help!
It's one of those things that I would love to receive as a gift because I probably wouldn't buy it for myself. Those punchboard engineers are geniuses.
Off topic- I ordered from Maymay for the first time. I ordered the red cap and 8oz bottle of art glitter glue on Friday morning. It came and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!
If you oil the punch sections underneath with sewing machine oil and then punch several times on scrap paper to get some of the oil off, your punch boards will be much easier to punch with. I have several of them and did this and it made the punch so much easier to use. In fact, mine stuck in the down position until I did this treatment. Hope this helps someone with their boards. Just a suggestion here. Thanks Maymay for your review.
Thank you so much for this video. I just purchased this punch board for real cheap! Your instructions were soooo easy to follow. I tried other videos and came up very short and frustrated. Thank you so very much for your visual and slow paced instructions. I have now made about 5 bags by myself......thanks to you! Bev (7/12/2017)
my board didn't have the instructions, after hunting around I found your tutorial, thank you so much, I make jewelery and this is perfect for packaging
Thank you for Actually showing us where to punch the holes. I have watched several other videos and NONE of them explained clearly where to punch the holes. Again thank you!
I have this punch board. I like to use the bags for small gifts. What I like about it is you can use your pretty papers to make a gift bag, or decorate how ever you want. I would love to see the other ideas you have for using this. Any time we can get more out of a craft tool is a plus.
Thank you for the step by step process. I was using mine today for the first time and I did struggle with it. So this video helped. Yes please do more videos with other ideas with this punch board.
Oh my you are so smart with these things. I have one and love it. I would love to see your other ideas please and thank you. Your videos are super cool and full of inspiration.God bless.
I've had mine for several years, I took it out today finally! I found it difficult to follow along with the written instructions! Thanks for helping me out with this tutorial!
Thank you for sharing. Yes, please share other project you could do with these punch board. I just purchase this punch board. You give good instruction. 👍🏼

Would so love to see what else you can use this board for! I would love to see you do a bag with a score board because you explain it where I can understand it! tfs..hugs, xoxo

I finally got one in October mines was 40% off. Finally played with it yesterday wasn’t to easy. Wish I seen this UA-cam before Thank you for sharing. It helps will do it again after I do my Saturday craft fair and movie my stuff to my new craft room down the street from my house across from my aunties house smiles. Just worried because my Storage’s are packed with things for crafting I have three to box up because I couldn’t a big one. My new place is 22x 30 so I can have craft classes smiles
hi...if you are in a high humidity area....use your heat tool on the thinner paper to dry it out a little before using the punch....that always works for me
Great video. Way better than the ones that the company put out. They go so fast it’s hard to follow. Your video also helped because I lost the directions and they weren’t available on their website.
What I found disappointing about the hole punch method on this punch board was that it punches in such a way as to make it easier to tie the bag CLOSED, when I usually just want to make ribbon handles. You can certainly make those holes on your own using your Cropadile, but you have to wiggle it a bit and try hard not to wrinkle the bag when you're attempting to make those holes. I don't use this punch board much so I'll have to search around for the video(s) sharing your alternate ideas. I do so love a punch board!
Hi. I agree with your conclusion that it's not worth the money just for the triangle crease. I'm a total newbie to gift bag making, and crafts in general, so I bought it because it looked simple to do. These were the cons for me- Didn't work on paper and it didn't punch properly and the cut lines were not clean The hole punch is too big, so I bought myself a 1/8 inch hand punch and it looks more professional I like to fold over the top of the bag, and there's no option on this punch to score this line Very limited in the size of bags I'm waiting for a Martha Stewart score board because I've been really impressed with the bags people have made on this. I wish I'd had the confidence to start off on this, than waste money on this punch. Although I've had a lot of success with the WRMK box punch and pillow box punch. Thanks for your review.
Love your demos! This is great idea, but agree that bags could be made without it! What are your other ideas? I recently bought the envelope punch and watched demo for it! Wanted to maybe make some little file folders for embossing folder storage!
Please share your other ideas with this punch. I have this one and I really like it. Sometimes I don't want to have to think and this makes it easy. I also know how to make a bag using the score board.
My EPB is the same way with copy weight.paper..it just doesn't punch well.... Unless, I slip a scrap of cardstock under the edge of the paper where it will be punched. It seems like a nuisance, but, I love the little 6x6 print paper and cardstock pads, for making small envelopes, and bows. So, I will do whatever it takes to get a clean crisp punch. I have plenty of white cardstock scraps! Enough for stamping sentiments, and for assuring clean punches for nicer bows and envelopes.☺
YES please, lets see the other ideas......like you had to ask! lol!! Thanks for sharing, this is a cute little machine but I agree that with a score board you could make one just as good...notice I said YOU not me....lol
