A comparison of the Tier IX French battleship Alsace and the Tier X French Battleship Republique which should you get? Watch to find out! (In my opinion)
I realized that I forgot to go over the Republique captain and module build, the captain build is the same as the Alsace as is the module build, except that I have Main Battery Mod 3 instead of Secondary Battery Mod 3
They nerfed the Alsace because of the upcoming Premium tier 10 Bourgogne that is a Alsace on steroids. Right now it has a 1.8 sigma and with the reload upgrade a reload of 24,6 seconds with a range of 24.8km.
I'd say Republique is the better ship. Yes, it is less good at brawling other BBs, but it isn't bad at it and where you'd really see the difference is DDs and CAs. The only way Alsace secondaries harm DDs a lot is with IFHE. Without, the 100 mm guns only start fires. And rarely a DD burns to death. against cruisers, take a Hipper, Roon, Hindenburg, Des Moines. If played correctly, they all can wreck an Alsace, as they can tank return fire. Republique? Apart from Moskva/Stalingrad, you can pretty much crap on any cruiser from any angle. And Republique has the range and accuracy to do this accross the map. If you play T10 cruiser, this is the one battleship that really is the biggest pain.
Nah the scharnhorst has too much armor to be a battlecruiser. But to be honest the term battlecruiser is meaningless during World War 2 since the new battleships are fast.
Yeah well... the differences of bbs and battlecruisers in game are blurred. Many so called battlecruisers play like BBs-dueling against other BBs, like Kongo or Amagi.
Repub is better, and i played alsace pre-nerf and she was close but...i still liked repub more. glad i got past her befor she was nerfed so badly Now its no contest... repub wins
Do you not have the main battery mod on republique that improves health and stuff ? The reason you were so low is because you are spotted from the moon. Mine has a detection range of 13.5 .
Agreee u cant push in the Republique, bettter off staying at range and using the sniping ability to kill half health targets. Alsace is a shadow of its former self but will still do pretty good in a brawl. Which is best ? Brawl vs snipe, I seem to get higher damage with Alsace but more kills with Republique
Why did you make that push in the Alsace in the end? You overreached massively and got crossfired so you couldn't angle against the enemy shells. I mean yeah you were probably gonna lose anyways but you could've been a lot more useful if you'd played a little more carefully imo.

Alsace have better secondaries and République GooD main battery gun and reload Time but thé best t9 bb it's Alsace for me 💖🇫🇷

You should do more ship comparisons, like tech tree vs premiums. Maybe do a North Carolina vs Alabama vs Massachusetts or Scharnhorst vs Gneisenau?

Thanx a lot, it helped me as not having the res for 2 tierX BBs to get the Wurst and keep my Alsace instead of going for the Republique !

I love both but always liked Republic better. ROF, secondaries, and the accuracy.
