WHAT A GORGEOUS PLACE ! I have always loved climbing rocks & trails.....love the flora & fauna of an area.... It has always been on my "bucket list" to see the desert southwest.... I am 79 and don't know if I will make it but if I don't, I can say I saw it through the eyes of others like you. We both seem to be able to see the beauty of places like this. I have dear friends who are from Canada & I can truly say I never met a Canadian who wasn't nice. Thank you for taking us along.... you are so lucky to have a wonderful place nearby. Stay safe, well and warm.
Hi Steven. I am watching your video from my kitchen in Central Jersey. We are now awaiting the arrival of a snowstorm this evening which has been forecasted as lasting through tomorrow. I love your videos and especially this one. It reminds me of all the many beautiful places which we as Americans are so fortunate to call our wonderful country. Love your commentary and your great enthusiasm of your many life experiences, may they be big or small. Looking forward to your next adventure! From Elaine la profe.
Your museum and outdoor adventure videos are as f-ing amazing as you are! You see the world in such a beautiful way and we all appreciate you sharing it with us.
Hi Steven👋🏼I have the perfect name for your new car: “Mishi”! In Mandarin Chinese it means, “mì shí: to forage to hunt for food to scavenge fig. to make a living” …I thought its perfect because it’s your old car’s name backwards, and your favorite pastime of foraging/scavenging at Goodwill! Do you like it? Great video…loved the scenery, which includes your leg! Sending much love to you from Michigan 💕💕💕
What a beautiful place! Thank you for sharing it with us. I would be terrified that a snake would sneak up on me on the trails. Hope your day is as amazing as you are.
I love it when you take us on road trips. Especially the Valley of Fire. Those Bighorn Sheep...wow. Love your reading of the Park's pamphlet. Geology is so interesting.
This was a beautiful video! I may never get to Valley of Fire so I appreciate you sharing. I am so glad you included the last part of your video: yes, we love a channel all about YOU! 🥳🎉! Keep em coming and don’t change a thing because you are “F’ing Amazing!” 🤗❤️
Hi Steven…I just love your vlogs..esp when you go to places like this…hopefully, I will be retiring to Vegas in about 8 years or so…I can’t wait..it’s so beautiful out there…enjoy! 🙏👍💎❤️🔥
There you are again. I went to bed early to avoid it all. lol. I'm in Berkshires of western Mass. and no precipitation at all. thankfully By the way, my friend had worked for Alaskan airlines.
That place is just beautiful. I love the desert. It may be because of living in the northeast all my life. Some of the landscapes just don’t even seem real. Thank you for bringing us there!
So beautiful! Thanks for sharing, Steven! I always enjoy your videos, especially when you go to wonderful places like this. Looking forward to the “I’m amazing” video 😂
I used to live near Wrigley Field in Chicago and I HATED game days so much because of the drunken crowds. I totally get why you left town 😂 Glad you had a lovely, peaceful day.
What beautiful sheep! I’ve only seen the wild donkeys at Valley of Fire. Perfect trip for Super Bowl avoidance! I agree that Valley of Fire is worth the drive. It’s amazing. I realized how much I love the desert from my previous trips.
Smart to leave town during the Super Bowl! Didn't care which team won...the commercialization has just become too much for me!! Glad you are enjoying your car!! Some of the rocks you were on towards the end almost looked like folded fabric...very interesting. I'm sure Buddie and Eleanor were waiting for you to get home...but that is a great feeling to know you were missed!!
LOL STALAGTITES! Not hard to imagine.. but yuck! Petroglyphs >4000 years old!-- Really amazing! It's all just beautiful. The colors and rock formations were spectacular. That large, flat rock(towards the end) made me think of what happens to the bones of someone with osteoporosis. Never thought id care to go thru that area, until your video. Thanks for sharing!! Safe travels! I wish i could be there, too. Don't know if id ever make it out that way
Super Bowl Sunday is a great day to do anything else because the crowds are so low for the rest of us who avoid the game. I've gone to movies, played golf at deep discounts- it's great!
The Super Bowl would be far more entertaining if it didn’t have so much of that pesky football stuff. Some of us were just watching for Reba, Usher, Taylor, and the commercials. I’m glad Taylor’s team won at least.
Wonderful video. You really take us along! So no need to visit you anymore, we know everything about you and your area already. :D Bindi and I just watched this video together. There's a tiny video of it on my channel. Yes, you are f-ing amazing and this channel IS about you and people who watch it do so because they want to. Those who moan...? Well, apart from the fact that we love them anyway (as in "oh sweetie, I see you have a problem and I am sorry for you") they just don't remember why they clicked on your video. As you say: there are other channels they can lock onto. I'm staying here, even though I ought to have been asleep quite a while ago.
You mean you’re not working on Super Bowl Sunday? You don’t know what you’re missing. You have no sense of adventure. But you do have a well developed sense of survival. 😂 I really want to go to that park. I may end up going to Nevada after all. You paint such a descriptive picture of outhouses. At least there wasn’t a resident brown recluse spider. There are petroglyphs in E Washington State. Unfortunately, some jackasses decided to ‘tag’ them. The remaining ones are now inaccessible. I’ll never understand why people have to destroy things.

Think you picked the best choice with going to Valley of Fire. Such a beautiful place!
We love you just the way you are! It's all the trauma, joys, tribulations that make you the crazy fantastic person we love to watch :)
Hiking pants with zip off legs let you enjoy shorts and pants when it gets cold.
Here from rainy Seattle and this trip looks sooo epic 🎉 I gotta make my way to visit those petroglyph, so amazing

Thanks for taking us on the trip to see Red Rocks.
Excellent footage!
The Valley of Fire is amazing! I'll check it out on my computer, never heard of it before.
Lol! It's "Marjorie, the trash heap!" Love ❤

Missed you in Vegas for the Super Bowl, but you were smart to avoid the madness.

I watched it in Germany, was a long night, since we are 9 hrs ahead, but well worth it 😅

What a gorgeous video❤❤❤
I agree I love the detail
You live in las vegas how can you avoid the super all super bowl stuff
The comment you discussed sounds like a drive-by from someone who doesn’t even watch your channel.
Yes I see it it looks just like a cat
Valley of Fire is very pretty and almost like another planet. Sedona isn’t too far from you. Those are beautiful Red Rocks too.
The Super Bowl would be far more entertaining if it didn’t have so much of that pesky football stuff. Some of us were just watching for Reba, Usher, Taylor, and the commercials. I’m glad Taylor’s team won at least.

Yep. Some asswipe vandalized these as well, but thankfully the vandalism wasn't as dramatic as the art.
Every time I see it. I think of the trip that we took there for julie's birthday in two thousand right before the world went to shit
Hope you're healing well.
Hey Steven! Nice meeting you in person! Sent you an email. ☺️
