Russia sold off alot of its platinum from 2014 onwards so I wouldn't expect them to have alot of inventory.
I thought the 1966 50 cent coin had 80% silver content
Yes 80% is correct , they discuss it at 34:00 mark.
The 1966 50c is well under 1oz in weight, but is 80% silver
