Yes, roads are very important but what is the use of a road that would lead you to nowhere? Rasta banaikena kutey jabo, ki kuribo, rasta khabo naki? Kheti nakure, graduate kurikena jobs napai, school aru colleges bhi puisa khai asey, moikhan sumi youth leaderless hoishey dey!

Land compensation must be given to those land owners and i believe what Sir Doshehe is doing is correct. He is standing on behalf of those people who are not being compensated. So we should hear out the story from the other side too. Don't jump into conclusion.
6,7 village agreed to develop road without taking compensation but some few money monger land owner want money and they filled case in court for compensation thats all i guess led by their former minister.
Not everyone is economically equal. There's Law for land compensation. Demanding land compensation is absolutely legal and justifiable under constitution.

I'm not from Atoizu but just want to share my opinion.
Actually development must not be stopped specially road. But, again we must also take into consideration regarding compensation cos all of us are not same. Some people might have 10/20 kms of land but some poor have only few meters of land which they bought by their hard earned sweat money and their only source of income is by cultivating it or by selling firewood. What will happen to them if it is contributed free for devp. So wat I feel is govt should look into their matter and consider it to compensate them. This is just my opinion.

Land compensation and damage compensation is provided mandatory for landowners by the govt during the allocation of budget. Your compensation will go everything in Rios pocket. We should claim it because its constitutionaly ours in first place
Fair compensation must be given. It is our legal right. In the same way, no manipulation must be done like we see some area building ghost villages to get compensation. That is illegal.
Others are happily taking the compensation then they should take the compensation too. It’s govt job to give compensation to every land owners. Don’t act holy there stupid people.
It is necessary to pay the landowners at list some thousand of rupees. GB of the village without the knowledge of the village community have no right to give anybody NOC and remove the entire cultivated land of the owner.

I love the lifestyle of our Angami society. High quality of life is often determined by several factors such as good social welfare systems, great education, safety, and overall well-being of their citizens....Today Angami is the most socially advance tribe in Nagaland. I hardly hear this lovely tribe hindering or hampering development project in their society. Our Sumi Society should follow this example too. Let the Atoizu road project begin.

It's not rocket science when kohima is the Capital of Nagaland and the CM has been serving and developing Angami areas specifically with special interest.
Kohima even has special "bicycle lane" constructed when the rest of the state doesn't even have a respectable motorable/walkable road!! There are Lots of unnecessary construction all over kohima district whereas the other districts are left in the dust, literally. House rents are worth an employee's monthly salary!!
With so much money spent on kohima, why won't they have an advantageous financial position compared to other districts?
When a community is financially stable, all other factors fall into place in near harmony.
If the Capital was established in another district instead of kohima, the same progress in all spheres will have been seen as we see currently.
Equality of opportunity does not apply in Nagaland, especially kohima district, when it comes to crony political advantages and other financial diversions.
Just imagine why all major schemes / plans/ minor schemes contractors are from Angami tribe? And too Vis-a-vis during SC Jamir's time and Aos.

Land was purchased without the knowledge of the Village Council. It's clearly mentioned that sale and purchase of land within the village jurisdiction should be done through proper channel i.e., the VC.
The VCC has also clearly mentioned that in the video.
Some rich ass ppl might donate land for free but the rest has bought it with their hard earned money...y should they just give away 50% of their land for free..i think the govt should compensate them first b4 rolling out the finance to the contractors n GBs 😒
Compensation was proposed but layman like my father was not given and only the GBs in video was bought so we went to our former minister for help, sir Doshehe even offered from his own side but why should we allow someone like the red coats to fool? Because our fathers are farmers so this problem. I really thank you ma’am for seeing the other side

Before the scheme arrived in Nagaland, the 6 villages gave NOC to concern department/ Govt, that we will not claim land compensation instead the villages appeal for road development.
No only the few fed red coats gave without speaking to land owners, for well to dos giving 50% of their farming land wouldn’t mean much but for our fathers that’s cutting into our livelihood not to mention the fact that 80% of the funds are missing out of this 92 crore project
Land compensation is constitutionally mandated. No groups/council have authority to decide for entire land owners. Whether to donate land for free or with compensation should be total discretion of individual land owners. According to Law every land owner have rightful compensation under constitution.
Btw, Even if you donate you donate entire village for free, Nagaland govt will never construct or develop any quality infrastructure. At the most it will last for 6 months.

Atoizu Constituency has always been considered as a Special constituency. There has been speakers,chief minister and 3 times minister. But die to Our present Chief minister who has been a chief minister since i was class 1 for His personal reasons helped the present MLA Er Picto Shohe ( no portfolio for 3 terms ) defeat Our capable former Minister in Power Dpt Sir Lt col Doshehe Y Sema forcefully. There was a case filed right after the 2012 election with proof of Er Picto signing a waver to some small time Underground people to go coupe the Saptikha area ( Usuto,shena old and new ) so as the case was filed Mr Picto Shohe even resigned from His candidacy because He knew what He did was not right but Our Sir Doshehe forgave Him for His deeds as He considers Sir Picto as His own brother as they are from the same village.

Have the affected land owners given their consent/noc to the government or was it a general noc given by the village council against the wishes of individual land owners? Compensation or no compensation is not the issue but was this done with due process? Everything should be done legally to avoid complications. Some individuals though well meaning cannot give noc on behalf of individual stakeholders without their consent.
No it wasn’t individual! Only few decided and went on. Not to mention this project was not at the fore front at first, only now that question were raised they’re trying to justify, this road project was not brought by the “MLA” as mentioned in the video but it’s part of projects passed few years back and we want to know where the funds are. Why use this as an excuse to hide the misuse of funds of those projects?
Valid and various associations should stand strong against corruptions and taxations to make clean and developed nagaland without clannisms and tribalisms. But unluckily all naga big or small unions or associasions are based on these two evils. Even political parties are based on these two evils and so we nagas will never progress. Even government chief ministers are based on these two evils. Think about it, naga people or the ministers have the same mineset on these two evils. Even the naga factions are no different.
