That Powerstroke Bloke thanks. Save your pennies now. This stuff gets expensive way too fast. It's far to addicting and hard not to replace things haha.
Kelly Keller the turbosmart looks cleaner/nicer to me and you can also open it up and change out springs inside of it to adjust boost levels along with the adjustable boost elbows. AFE's are sealed up like stock units, but still nice products and better than stock. I was just looking for more adjustable options really.
Hey buddy, I have just bought a 2001 Dodge Cummins with a hx35w off of young buck that was learning to work on it, took the engine out and is on the stand and noticed that the wastegate isn't hooked up and the hoses is cut off but on the hx35w where there would be a hole there isn't? Help please lol
Hoping someone can help. Just found this video because I searched for wastegate issues. I did a pressure test on my 95 12v turbo system the other day looking for boot leaks. The system wouldn't pressurize at all. The air flowed through the rubber hose on the turbo just as fast as I applied it. When I punched the hose by hand, the airflow stopped. Is this an indication my wastegate is stuck open? I am very low on power, and just searching for the issue.
You seriously need to just get to the point in you're Videos, you explain too much on things that do not matter and not enough on the things that actually matter. It makes me avoid watching your videos if possible.
Its finally back together!
This dude has an incredible talent for providing one minute worth of video in 15 minutes.
Everything is looking great. 👌 Another very informative video. Keep up the good work!
Nice job man good video!
Chad Myers73 thanks man! It's not fully built, but I'm impressed by it so far and excited to see how it runs for a little bit.

Quick question josh I was wondering why you went with a turbo smart waste gate over a AFE waste gate. Is the turbo smart waste gate better? Thanks!

It's called a " dammit" clip. Because that's what you say when they go flying.
Does a stock waste gate open up sooner? Or is 26psi standard?

What about getting it sent to the turblab?
Ethan Heldreth still planning to do that. I want to see what it does before it gets built and compare it to the hy35 a little bit.
How did it proform?
Name the video correctly. The video is about changing the actuator...
Youre doing it wrong.. Need to rip it off weld it shut. Lol

Same. He talks way to damn much
Wait are you saying you didn't like the two minute segment on the cab of paint that he bought but decided not to use?
