I think it was twice at 400 yards or something. Abel was extremely impressed. Died to cancer or something. It upset Abel so much he just stopped his attack and sat down.
Sadly, this guy was a field agent and died because of a bombing against an unrelated SCP. It wasn't that Abel was upset that he died, it was that Abel was upset he died as collateral damage. A death unworthy of a warrior.
I always thought that Cain and Able were related to the war between the Church of the Broken God and the Sarkic Cults. The two were brothers, taken by each side. The Church forged Cain into a superhuman weapon, and the Sarkics mutated Able to be theirs. Their powers perfectly negate one another's; Cain will reflect any killing blow, but Able will always return from a killing blow.

At least we now have Dr. Bright’s immortality thanks to him being killed by Able while holding SCP-963. And now Dr. Bright just challenges him to unwinnable games and has Able get into arguments with forum trolls.
So in the SCPverse, the reason why Able became so murderous is because he assisted in the war against the Daevite Empire, and was eventually corrupted by them. He began to serve the Scarlet King, the Daevite's patron deity, and tried to destroy Eden. Cain attempted to stop him with his magics, but Able defeated him and ripped off his arms (potentially why Able asked if Cain had forgiven him). There was a momentary lapse where Able realized what he had done, and descended all of his wrath upon the Daevas. You should consider 682! Despite his popularity there’s still some fairly obscure elements to him that aren’t very well known. (Like him being a child of the Scarlet King) and his connections to 999, 231 and 2317 or even 079. Otherwise, great work with the content. Edit: whilst I loved your video on the Scarlet King, there’s still plenty that you left out that you could mention in a 682 video. For instance there’s a popular theory (though since there’s no canon you have to take it with a grain of salt) that each of the 7 children of 231 are all SCPs: 231-1 gave birth to 053 231-2 gave birth to 096 231-3 gave birth to 058 231-4 gave birth to 682 231-5 gave birth to 239 231-6 gave birth to 055 231-7 gave birth to 999 It’s an interesting theory if you compare it to the tale “Dust and Blood” since all of the SCPs share traits associated with the designated bride of the scarlet king; I.e. 682 is the son of A’zieb: “She was vast and powerful, and terrible to behold, taking the form of a great beast. Her children were like her, and feared no weapon nor magical spell, for their injuries were healed, and their hides impenetrable.”
Don’t forget (One I find very interesting), during an attempted escape he stumbled upon a researcher, Dr. Clef. What’s interesting is that he stares at him for a couple of minutes and then left, leaving him unharmed.
TheFVguy It is pretty interesting, but I think that incident had more to do with Clef being a reality bender (if you choose to accept that as Canon) and 682 sparing him more than likely had something to do with Clef using his anomalous abilities rather than 682 actually sparing him for a specific reason. Nonetheless it’s still an interesting tale and worth a mention.
I didnt know of that order of the kids of 231 I only knew that 682 was supposedly the fourth, altough something that bugs me about it is 096 being the second and 058 the third because evey child is suppouse to be more powefull than the last, but 096 seems to me much more powerfull than 058.
The Foundation took photos of them with SCP 978. The results: 073 is farming a little farm with lots of plants and animals. 076 is feeding pigs with 073 remaings with a burning city in the background.
My favorite thing about the SCP versions of Cain and Able is how Cain now has an aversion to violence but unintentionally can cause harm while Able is now the one committing murder. Cain killing plant life also is a nice touch, since he was the farmer of the two brothers.
Joshua Van Tassell most of the iconic ones weren’t nearly as powerful as stuff like 2999 and 3999, 682 is indestructible but he’s only as strong as a massive, intelligent crocodile
LtLampshade but it hasn’t really killed any SCP apart from like 939 which can be easily killed with guns, it only really adapt to survive, like with 173, it grew eyes all over its body but not tried to destroy it
I didn't realize Cain and Abel made up in the end. I thought they were always part of the SCP universe. Are their entries now classified as Neutralized then or what?
I really can't emphasize it enough that there is no canon, and tales don't really mean anything unless you want them to. I could write a tale where Cain and Able go super saiyan and destroy the galaxy and it would be just as legitimate.
@@TheExploringSeries hm, alright. I assume you used the SCP Wiki to research the SCPs seeing as you are covering... well... SCPs lol. I was under the impression that whatever is on the Wiki is classified as some form of canon to the universe. If two articles explain a different outcome for a similar timeline of events, that is usually explained by the events happening in some other dimension within the SCP uni/multiverse. So do I take the Wiki articles as something like folktale stories or comics? It's "canon," but only to those who have written/told the story. Regardless, it's still nice that they made up in this version. That's really all I cared about tbh. I can't stand tales of brothers who cannot forgive each other for past mistakes... even murder.
The actual SCP entries themselves are canon, at least within themselves. Tales are exactly that, tales and stories. Unlike something like Marvel declaring what is official or not, it's up to each reader to decide for themselves what they want to accept or not. This is called headcanon.
Eh 343 is less likey to be any god they recognize and more likely a dangerous reality bender with heavy memetic properties or just someone with heavy persuasive power.
Two of the OG best Series I SCP's. SCP-001 (Clef's Proposal) should also have been tossed in, though I suppose that in and of itself deserves it's own video...
Also, little fun fact about Cain's Prosthetic arms: They're made of the same type of Alloy that many of the Mekanites (the precursors to the Church of the Broken God) used during their war against the Daevite Empire, and eventually the Sarkic Cults Empire of Adytum led by Grand Karcist Ion. So his involvement in that great war is also a possibility.
A glorious tv show following a team who collects SCPs. The final episode and first episodes of each season are Containment Breaches, where we see the favorite SCPs throughout the season once again.
My favorite part of the SCP community is how laughable the idea of canon is, honestly, so many articles dont align or just straight-up contradict one another that trying to establish a consistent world would require the destruction of the core identity of the site at this point
Literally the reason i got into SCP. At first i thought they were all just creepypasta stuff like that weeping angel one, then i eventually found out they range from horror monsters to g-man type beings to extremely gifted to absolute badasses like Able Edit: i never saw Able as edgy, just an action character rather than a horror character
Taking into account they explored Cain and Able, i'm a bit surprised they haven't done a video on another SCP that is involved with them through their temporary group, SCP-105 AKA Iris. Even more so when Iris seems to have outsmarted one of them thanks to her abilitiies.
So Dr. Clef is implied to be the Serpent who "guarded" one of the two trees of Eden (the other one was protected by an entity who now goes by the name Dr. Sophia Light). So while SCP-166 (The Succubus) is not directly related to Cain and Able, she is the daughter of the Serpent who guarded the Tree of Knowledge (Dr. Clef), and is still tied in with their Biblical significance.
Well, my sources say otherwise As far as I remember, The teenage succubus is the daughter of Dr. Clef and a lesser goddess who would was in the process of rewinding technology. From modern, into pre-industrialized period. This happened when Dr. Clef was still in GOC and moved to the Foundation probably it's because he decided that's the best place for her kept.
@@gamerlost526 I mean, there is no specific canon so it's very possible that both could be right, especially since SCP constantly refers to multiple dimensions and realities in the later series. But either or, I do know that Clef's Serpent identity is a recurring theme in his tales so I think it's a stronger headcanon. But as for his daughter it's a little less obvious since she just wants to be left alone (who can blame her? considering every male that sees her eventually tries to rape her).
I feel like these two are a little mixed up. In the bible, Cain killed Abel out of jealousy, pretty much making him the first murderer in recorded history. Here, it seems like Able is the bad guy, flipping their roles entirely. I'm not entirely sure how you could get the two mixed up EDIT: I should really watch the whole video before commenting...
That was kind of the interesting part from original SCP article.. their roles were intentionally reversed to reflect life after the "incident". Cain was remorseful and kind because of his guilt and Able was angry and vengeful because Cain killed him. For me, at least, it was a huge component for making Cain and Able actually feel like brothers and people in the narratives.
@@azarinevil That seems like a huge split for them to have, just because one of them invented murder that one time. Since then, murder has happened multiple times, to multiple people.
Dude if I'm honest I never understood why Cain killing Abel was a punishable thing... That was the first ever murder yea? So he should never have known that slapping his brother with a heavy thing he found on the ground would kill him. I mean you need to have free evil to actually be evil yes?
Cain: forever to live in remorse and pain Able: unable to seek revenge on his brother because it'll be reversed and is filled with rage ; Both cursed, damn thats gruesome
Because they are the worst kind of nerds. Socially inept (due to chosen seclusive living) and mentally unevolved (not having life experiences makes you dull to adventure and storytelling). SCP has a edgy virgin side that repells most new fans and it sucks. Meme's is the most pathethic social tool known to man, and it's all they have.
Not really, I mean, the Christian Church was of the same mindset for quite a while, and still is to a degree now. In my personal experience, at least, it actually tends to be older Roman Catholics specifically that are rather intolerant of other religions, but that could just be due to the area I live in.

Im surprised you didn't include the biblical reference of cain's reflection ability: Genesis 4:15 of the bible states: God told him, “No. Anyone who kills Cain will pay for it seven times over.” God put a mark on Cain to protect him so that no one who met him would kill him.

TheBlues32 no I believe the report said he died to the foundation own bombing run to stop him from escaping if I’m not wrong
Sadly, this guy was a field agent and died because of a bombing against an unrelated SCP. It wasn't that Abel was upset that he died, it was that Abel was upset he died as collateral damage. A death unworthy of a warrior.

Omega-7 taught the Foundation to not put biblical demigods and mentally damaged teenagers into a task force.

Made him a good part of the foundation tho, it’s very useful to have a man with almost 100 years experience lol
It was them who created the cube and his prison, but not much more is known after that.

For instance there’s a popular theory (though since there’s no canon you have to take it with a grain of salt) that each of the 7 children of 231 are all SCPs:
231-1 gave birth to 053
231-2 gave birth to 096
231-3 gave birth to 058
231-4 gave birth to 682
231-5 gave birth to 239
231-6 gave birth to 055
231-7 gave birth to 999
It’s an interesting theory if you compare it to the tale “Dust and Blood” since all of the SCPs share traits associated with the designated bride of the scarlet king;
I.e. 682 is the son of A’zieb:
“She was vast and powerful, and terrible to behold, taking the form of a great beast.
Just me I Perhaps 231-3 gave birth to the creature the heart belongs to?

My favorite thing about the SCP versions of Cain and Able is how Cain now has an aversion to violence but unintentionally can cause harm while Able is now the one committing murder. Cain killing plant life also is a nice touch, since he was the farmer of the two brothers.
At first I liked the concept of SCP but along the way it just became a game of “my fictional character is stronger then yours”.
That's what Series-1 anomalies were like.
Joshua Van Tassell most of the iconic ones weren’t nearly as powerful as stuff like 2999 and 3999, 682 is indestructible but he’s only as strong as a massive, intelligent crocodile
LtLampshade hes only as strong as a big crocodile tho and can’t take on some of the stronger ones
LtLampshade but that’s is for it’s immortality, not it’s strength. It barely killed any of the scps it was pitted against
LtLampshade but it hasn’t really killed any SCP apart from like 939 which can be easily killed with guns, it only really adapt to survive, like with 173, it grew eyes all over its body but not tried to destroy it
I didn't realize Cain and Abel made up in the end.

I wonder if Teenage Succubus is somehow related to them has well has Titanias prison.
Just doctor Clef, IDK if it's implied but it's related to Doc Clef.
No but it is related to 3999 .For an unknown reason scp 3999 wants to kill her

I feel like these two are a little mixed up. In the bible, Cain killed Abel out of jealousy, pretty much making him the first murderer in recorded history. Here, it seems like Able is the bad guy, flipping their roles entirely. I'm not entirely sure how you could get the two mixed up
EDIT: I should really watch the whole video before commenting...
Big yikes for you buster.

Not really, I mean, the Christian Church was of the same mindset for quite a while, and still is to a degree now. In my personal experience, at least, it actually tends to be older Roman Catholics specifically that are rather intolerant of other religions, but that could just be due to the area I live in.
I've been waiting from a biblical video like this. SCPs like this I find so interesting because it finds a way to warp our perception of a common belief. It's really cool to see so many SCPs link together and crossover.
I like the photo of the Prince from PoP thrown into the mix. Him becoming the two sided dark Prince is a good reference to Cain and able
Im surprised you didn't include the biblical reference of cain's reflection ability:
Genesis 4:15 of the bible states: God told him, “No. Anyone who kills Cain will pay for it seven times over.” God put a mark on Cain to protect him so that no one who met him would kill him.
Eddy Choe he did mention it
Avenged sevenfold lol
What I'm thinking is seven deadly sins?
that's what I never could puzzle out...why would God protect Cain from death after killing his brother?
@@Kaathe249 The number 7 comes up a lot in the bible, a quick google search says that it references the number about 735 times lol.
Also, our calendar with the seven day week was based off of Genesis, where God made the world in 6 days and rested on the 7th.
Able just has alot of determination in his soul.
