Who knows. There are a few experiences with "B" quality sold for eastern europe (not only music instruments), but no one manufacturer will tell you that. So the Tama neednt be a guarantee for me.
At this price point, Yamaha, Tama, and Sonor blows everyone to hell. They're quality control is rock solid. Same kits from Yamaha, Tama, and Sonor at this price point include-- Yamaha Tour Custom Sonor AQ 2 Tama Starclassic Birch/Bubinga Although I think you were just unlucky because usually Gretsch Taiwanese kits have good quality control.
wtf this should never been put out ,ordered the same set from sweetwater if it comes like this its going back ,you never know what your getting when you order but i know these kits are sweet i got a jazz kit and love it in renoun series .Did you order this through the mail ?
Yeah, shit happens sometimes, but i think it was the only defective drumset. I bought it in a store. Set was packed in original unopened boxes, so i thought it will be OK and im not checked it in store, but at home. Problem was solved by Gretsch and my seller. The new set is perfect.
For a short while I had a renown maple and the quality control seemed a bit crap in general. I don't think you can go wrong with Pearl or yamaha. Never seen a bad pearl kit.
that´s why i love Tama. rock solid kits

@@Paulie.drummer it’s good to know they took care of the situation. Good on them.

yes, Japanese drums are of high quality, but I do not plan to change my drums right now.
Owned a renown snare, I was disappointed how bad she sounded had to sell it
I have no experience with this snare. I'm using my own DIY SD.
just spray a shitlooad of silver sealer on those spots !
