This was excellent man, and deserves to have way more traffic. The work you put into this is super comprehensive and i'm really grateful for it. It hasn't gone unnoticed. Just subbed.
It is garbage. Customer service is pathetic. Technical support non-existent. I cannot log in from both Chrome of Firefox but I can using Safari. They have no idea why it won't work on those browsers. Utter clowns. Membership cancelled.
Same experience I had. Customer service is trash. Tech support trash. They took money out of my account and had to refund me. I had to wait 15 days for an 8k contract. Yea I’m good on this thing I moved to another platform.
Sadly its not possible to have another invoice language than english so it is only possible to get accepted by english speaking tax offices. (Spain where i live will not work.)
I love Hello Bonsai. I've been using it for almost 2 years and have mostly positive things to say about it. It's easy to use and has great functionality. Although I have had some glitches before. Thanks for sharing!
It does not unfortunately, the name/email you sign up with will be what goes out on contracts, invoices etc you can’t add more than one LLC to the account. You can however change the name/email etc whenever you want but all the files, contracts, invoices & projects will be mixed. Hope that helps!
As a designer, I’ve found out that branded templates for proposals, contracts, quotes and invoices made with Indesign make for such a more advanced and visually coherent client experience. In Bonsai, even a contract doesn’t look the same as an invoice and whether in Bonsai or Indesign, you have to enter your values anyway when making quotes/invoices; every layout is so impersonal and doesn’t represent your own brand. Templates combined with ClickUp for project management, time tracking, online forms, budget follow-up, assets database and client portals make for a much cheaper and more complete package. It obviously takes time to set up all your templates, but once that’s done, the customization workflow is simple and speedy. Bonsai still lacks customization and the pricing is a bit exaggerated in my opinion.
Creating custom designs is also very viable, but for most people having a one all solution is great. Do you only use indesign for the design of your invoices? I sometimes have used Figma too
Really useful introduction to Bonsai. I’m contemplating either Bonsai or Plutio and this is helping me make a decision. So far Bonsai looks better but I’m very indecisive 😆
@@ArnauRos I did, they said they removed my card and then on July 1st they charged me again. This website is a scam and I would not be recommending it to anyone. They have now charged me 3 times for a subscription I cancelled in April!

Thanks for watching! What has your experience with Hello Bonsai been?

Quite a good explanation but couldn't listen too long due to the annoying background noise.

Very good overview video. No I need to watch the other videos that go into each part of Bonsai in more detail. Thanks!
Thanks mark! I have a playlist just for you on my channel!
Does it have any forms to collect client info from a website and then turn it into a project?
It does! Checkout my hello bonsai for agencies video- I go over the forms in detail!
Does hello bonsai support two business for one account?

Can you do a vid comparing bonsai and quick books?
I’ll definitely look into it, it would come out next week if so

Awesome video, thank you!
Thanks Sara!
Hello Bonsai charged me twice after I cancelled my subscription and then refused to tell me how to remove my card information from their system.
Not sure, try contacting bonsai!

Defintely not a scam website, try contacting your bank
@@ArnauRos based on the comments here it definitely is a scam

@@ArnauRos just did :)
Bonsai would be good for a studio too right? Same workflow I bet
Woo! Thanks man
Bonsai is also good for studios, they have a lot of delegation tools that you can take advantage of.
Thought you were going to dive deeper with some screen captures, but appreciate the introduction. Your audio is very heavy on bass by the way.
Sorry about that, I didn't feel comfortable showing personal details in the video - on the mic note, check my latest vids my quality has improved :)
True. Pretty much the content can be found on the hello bonsai home page. We did not dive deeper. Thanks for the intro
