I meant separatrons. Damn autocorrect. Did you think of these options and choose not to do them for some reason (reusability, lameness, etc) or did you not think of them?@@RufflesKerman
you should have built a plane that has the turning radius of the dish (at whatever AoA that would be required to do that turn) where the plane would be close to stalling at that AoA. then, you try and land the plane by wall riding the inside of the dish. ive flown some planes in my time and its all about energy managment
It's a good idea. I've tried before but without success. It's a hard shape to make in KSP. Hopefully when we get larger parts for interstellar travel it will be feasible...

Love your content! It’s cool to see smaller UA-camrs do cool projects, no matter how small. Keep it up!
Good video as always.
Butter landing.
Looks fun ! My thought of how to land in the dish would have been a controlled stall on the front edge of the dish.

BUTTER landing. Great video 👍
Separations would give a strong push backwards/up and be pretty funny, alternatively drogue parachutes could work
True.

There have been plans for a circular runway so that planes could take off and land in any direction. Also, it would make for a more efficient airport

Hey ruffles, you know your old thunderbirds builds? Could you make thunderbird 2?

I made a successful flying one with all the same dimensions of the 60s version
Merry late Christmas
