I know I risk people throwing eggs at me but I like her as much as Cathy. She’s more sophisticated and her set up is a way nicer kitchen which makes for a nicer presentation. Plus she doesn’t use crappy Tupperware junk but real glass dishes. It just looks better. I still like Cathy though don’t get me wrong but this is a step up.
I felt pretty disappointed about that myself. At first I thought maybe it was the quality of the older video that was making it hard to distinguish then I said no, i am not going to make excuses for the producers and defend them. This woman is pretending that we are seeing two types of egg preparation made at the same time but let’s be honest here, the finished product is not convincing. Maybe the poached one was more watery when the daughter who likes poached eggs sat down to eat it but it doesn’t look different than the fried one and I am sincerely watching this video on a very larger than average screen and running an enhancement plugin on top of that. Trust me I’ve got a front row seat observing those eggs and I also paused the video at that part to scrutinize the eggs with my wife here and I called my son in to get his opinion but he was busy shaving ham for his clubhouse meetup. I’ve decided to embark on an email to the producers and if I’m lucky this very woman who is demonstrating this device. To be perfectly honest I think she has good intentions and nobody is perfect but it would have been more professional and thorough to re-do the eggs until we could see some discernible level of contrast between the two methods in the end. Well I don’t have much more to say my wife has made open faced turkey sandwiches with homestyle gravy so I’d like to go have that now.
No way...this is the lady with the dog who started screaming in the Jaboody Dubs version of the Sticky Buddy commercial? I thought she looked familiar. Amazing lol.
It's called a "toastie maker" and you can buy one for 7 bucks. But here it is presented as some kind of revolutionary multi-purpose culinary miracle. Wow! You plug it in and it gets hot!
I remember watching this on Channel 10! This and the infomercial for some mini blender/whisk thing that you can make smoothies and parfaits with. Mr. Hewitt was on those, too.
I loved this infomercial when I was a kid and couldn't sleep at night. Thanks for posting this. In fact, I just purchased a Super Snacker on Ebay; so this commercial still works!
I got it from an old friend. I'm sure he had it for years in his house. Maybe from the 90s or early 2000s. No clue where you can find them now, maybe online?
@@angelahoffman3061 lol unfortunately I was too lazy to try, I only used it for grilled cheese sandwiches and egg toast sandwiches. I ended up moving and got rid of it :(
That woman we're watching, that I remembered in the 1990s of that retromercial is kitchen testing expert Ginny Nelson, along with host Christopher Hewett who plays the family housekeeper Mr. Belvedere.
Some of the recipes and ideas here are the same as in the Snackmaster infomercial with Cathy Mitchell. If this was a battle to find an informercial star then Cathy obviously won considering that she still pops up hocking items.
If somebody tried to serve me one of those authentic pizzas I would throw them in the authentic trash. That is desperation trailer park pizza. But I suppose it could be of some use in a dorm. She did say that her granddaughter in college had one.
I can tell why she wasn't used for many presentations. I'm about to fall asleep! Kathy Mitchell far superior. Why isn't she cutting open the food during this video? Interesting to see sales differences in both units!
to bad sandwhices never come out actually cut in half. i love this damned thing though. my gma bought my parents one when it first came out and bought herself one. i now have my gmas and i use it all the time for sandwhiches but not for anything else or for grilled cheeses.
Probably when they filmed this all the food was stone cold. Notice there’s zero steam when they open the top half. Also the food has been trimmed and styled and put back in the contraption to look perfect.
Ever since seeing this I refuse to eat anything that isn’t triangle-shaped
😂😂😂😂😂
Before surfing the internet on the phone or browsing UA-cam at 3am.... there were infomercials.
My grandma would leave the infomercials on throughout the night because that was the only thing that kept me asleep. :)
Lol
Right after Dionnes Psychic Friends and Miss Cleo
She's great but she's no Cathy Mitchell.
Exactly
Amen!❤
100% agree

wonder bread, right from italy. made by michelin star renowned chefs.
Imagine serving everything that’s shaped in a triangle. Italian bread and it’s authentic pizza.
6:24 My grandma bought us one when I was a kid and man, I lived off those little pizza pockets for an entire summer lol...they were so good!!!
❤
You can still buy this thing at the stores. One of the rare informercial item that actually works.

I agree
Yeah, it is a better presentation.
But I don't even remember this lady.🤔
I think the only one I ever saw was Cathy.
I've been looking for this for 20 years!
I like the Snack Master with Kathy Mitchell myself.
Still the ultimate sandwich maker
“Fried” and “poached” eggs look exactly the same lol

@@midnightcassettelibrary5171 Hey Cletus, stop whining and go eat some stank tartare.
You have fine taste in comments ;)
They taste the same too!
That bread for the pizza was so buttered before it hit the grill
Oh yeah....If you DIDN'T, they would come out dry and hard as hell...Butter=more like grilled cheese...
fun fact shes featured in the sticky buddy commercial
No way...this is the lady with the dog who started screaming in the Jaboody Dubs version of the Sticky Buddy commercial? I thought she looked familiar. Amazing lol.

We had one of these in the 90’s. I kinda want one again. 😂😂
"I'm gonna take and I'm gonna..."
I have looking for this for 30 years

does it work like it's showing here
"Really authentic pizza" lol
I just got one of these and im actually kind of stoked... Someone online suggested to do French toast stuffed with cream cheese ! 😬
How did it go?
Where’d you get it?
I got it from an old friend. I'm sure he had it for years in his house. Maybe from the 90s or early 2000s. No clue where you can find them now, maybe online?

I know this was recorded in the 80s, but wow this sounds only slightly better than the first recording ever from the 1800s.
The pancakes looked pretty burnt
I still have this one somewhere. The grandkids may get a kick out of it.
That woman we're watching, that I remembered in the 1990s of that retromercial is kitchen testing expert Ginny Nelson, along with host Christopher Hewett who plays the family housekeeper Mr. Belvedere.
This must have been the upper class infomercial.
My mom had one. I totally remember this as a kid.
Sauseeges. Sundee brunch. Samweedges.
Don't forget the pecawns
Got me one of these at Goodwill for $5, and will teach my 10 year old how to make grilled cheese sandwiches for me.
I have one of these from my gram that we still use like once a week 😂
wow i love triangles
Tablespoon of water, poached eggs. Hilarious.
i am watching this at 4:48 in the night. I dont know why
Ahahaha it's a bog standard sandwich toaster.
Where's Mr Belvidere?
omfg this is what its called? I had one of these growing up lol all I did was use it to make grilled cheeses!!
“Really authentic pizza with Plain ole pizza sauce right out of a jar” on white bread
Yuck

bdh70 Don’t hate on struggle meals.
Did this lady and Cathy Mitchell have a rivalry in 1990? Cathy had the Snackmaster.
Is that Angela Lansbury?
Kelly Stout yes.
Tee-Hee
I know right
Remember watch this .
Fantastic ..
Where’s Cathy Mitchell to trash this IMPOSTER
If you're using a piece of white bread as your pizza crust, you are doing it wrong.
They had a few of these Sandwich makers, that were kind of copycats. All worked about the same.
I can tell why she wasn't used for many presentations. I'm about to fall asleep! Kathy Mitchell far superior. Why isn't she cutting open the food during this video? Interesting to see sales differences in both units!
authentic pizza, from Kabul.
Cathy Mitchell is better! This lady is from munchkin land and Golden Girls from the big South Fork Ranch! Lolol! Bless her heart!
Why is this woman using a toastie maker to make eggs and pancakes?!? Love, your doing it all wrong!
to bad sandwhices never come out actually cut in half. i love this damned thing though. my gma bought my parents one when it first came out and bought herself one. i now have my gmas and i use it all the time for sandwhiches but not for anything else or for grilled cheeses.
So similar
"that's one of my favorites"
You mean a cooked egg?
I can't hear anything
You could actually cook that whole breakfast in a pan in less time. Not time saving at all
Wait is this Cathy Mitchell?
Talking about "my family" and "at my house" like she can pull off a Cathy Mitchell smh
xpress redi set go but the 1990 version
What is this lady’s name?
Wow I got way too angry watching her pile all her pizza toppings in the very center 😂
You had 2 because the edges would seal up and if you had ANYTHING on these edges it wouldn't seal and would spill out all over...
This broad is WAY better than Cathy!
this gal needs to learn how to cook lol
🌝
You ruined the pizza when you put those nasty olives on there. why do people think they have to ruin everything with olives. Yuuk
"isn't that wonderful?"
Nobody asked you to eat it, relax
This lady has no personality. She was definitely the wrong person to pick to host an infomercial.
That machine is garbage
Omfg these comments are funny and this video omg this cheap knockoff of Cathy and the Clark Snack Master LMAO
Was this a rip off of the snack master?
All of the eggs got that gross tough skin on them, disgusting.
