The PGA TOUR heads to Detroit, Michigan, this week for the fifth installment of the Rocket Mortgage Classic at Detroit Golf Club. Last year’s champion Tony Finau returns to defend his record-setting title. Finau finished with a score of 26-under-par to break the tournament scoring record by three shots, posting just one bogey on the week. He’ll be accompanied by an in-form Rickie Fowler in the field. He’s finished inside the top-13 in his last four events, including a T5 finish at the U.S. Open, setting the U.S. Open single-round scoring record in round one. Justin Thomas will also be teeing it up this week in Detroit. He snapped back into form at the Travelers Championship after achieving his first top-10 since mid-March at the Valspar Championship. Only winner Keegan Bradley made more birdies at the Travelers, as he closed with a 64-62-67 in his final three rounds. Tom Kim will also like his chances this week after he finished T8 at the U.S. Open in Los Angeles. Turning 21 years old last week in Connecticut, he posted rounds of 64 and 65 to finish T38. The Korean debuted here last summer and matched the course record (63) on Sunday to finish solo seventh. Max Homa, Hideki Matsuyama, Collin Morikawa and Keegan Bradley will also be shooting for top spot in Detroit.

Ludvig Åberg just turned PRO and he’s been at the top at every event since then! What a great talent
Too bad Wu’s albatross wasn’t caught on video!
Thank you for that comment. Now I don’t have to spend 7 minutes waiting for it and it not being there
Åberg is going go be lethal!
Pro he's at the top every event since then what a great talent!
Thats embarrassing af if they really missed the Dylan Wu alby on camera
Dylan Wu got an albatross on hole 14 yet there’s no video of it. These highlights are laughable
Are you serious?!!!
Kid you not, there was neither a camera on that hole nor following the group. There were probably less than 100 of us in that particular gallery to witness it. It's a shame because it's the most bananas sports moment I've ever been part of, and to paraphrase the old Bill Murray story, "No one will ever believe you."
File a lawsuit. Fulfill your entitled little soul.
Where is wu’s albatross?
Bhatia? Isn't he the Korn ferry tour winner I saw on youtube?
Yeah last year
everyone around the world are getting so good......
Plz JT get it together! You’re in my multis
Morikawa wasn’t even happy 😂
If you can do the back spin then you have reached pro level. Am I right?
Nicely
It is astonishing to see the 1st round scores being -8. Golf courses seems to be getting easier. They don't get longer. The eqipment gets better and the use of a rangefinder makes it too easy. I used to enjoy watching golf but now not anymore
They don't get range finders at regular tour events and equipment hasn't really advanced all that amazingly much on tour. Maybe it was just soft today 🤷🏻♂️
it’s not the equipment and they can’t use rangefinders. 1st round pins are usually the easiest. it’s the players that are getting better. there’s more elite players now than there’s ever been
@@TvSProShop I believe that some of the toughest courses are in Scotland. There the pros score + sometimes
@@oozieneinmillimeeda I believe that some of the toughest courses are in Scotland. There the pros score + sometimes
@@kwaggapoot9834The open championship is traditionally the easiest major for the pros in recent years. The tour has always played a mix of easier and harder courses. Decades ago, there’s were still plenty of pga tour events that had winning scores well into the double digits under par.
Nothing but drivers and Irons but not a single putt highlight! Who edited this?
harmon needs to be cut for slow play. It just took him 1.5 minutes to hit a drive. ridiculous!
poor dude at the end pointing at blanks
Morals and values
Sehr guten
Why do players act so apologetic when making unbelievable bunker shots? It is all the hours of practice behind it. At least I would like to believe it is when on those rare occasions I make one.
No love for my boy Schenk?
Im falling in love pga tour , hated u before when u only showed putts.
But now ... wow .
And Åberg is pronounced Oberg in swedish
❤
🎉
Has Rory started his rant about how the corse is outdated they should never play it again blah blah and BLAH
How much butchering can Åberg's name take? Eyyyyy-berg..
where is the albatross!? this is a joke!
No camera crew on the hole or with the group (seriously!). His tee shot on the next hole, however, was on camera and he stuck it to within 6 feet. Dude just went off for 4 holes.
Absolutely zero interest in a liv/pga tour tournament, It's all yours.
Did he say kissing cousins?
I wondered too, I heard "kids and cousins"
I heard kicks and fluffins.
1st
What a trash field
PGA is smart to let LIV guys back in future
