I mean, given the fact we have the armored Bourrasque at tier X capable of delivering ~1k dmg in 2 seconds, yeah, 650 is not that much. We also have some other two tanks dealing 750 per shot. But yeah, I would not like this becoming a trend, even though it already is.
Think about this: WG reworked the HE system and dropped the penetration of HE rounds significantly because quote "HE did too much damage to armored tanks! " Then, a year later, they introduce this BZ monstrosity of a tank with a gun which fires HE rounds with incredible high penetration. Result: HE rounds can now penetrate armour again, basically very similar to the pre-rework time. This design decision is so contradicting and messed up - as if two different teams work against each other within WG.
Jokes aside, it's unfortunately the same team which clearly thinks of the playerbase as monkeys that will tolerate anything and will keep throwing money for the next OP/gimmicky tank.
they nerfed HE because they thought it did too much SPLASH damage to armoured tanks. IE FV4005 hitting the front of an E3 for 600 vs the 150 it would do today.
Totally agree, they truly don't care at this point. Just try to enjoy the game for what it is and don't take it seriously cus any sort of balance is out the window

This tank is designed to render previous tier 8 premiums obsolete and force people to buy future op premiums to remain competitive. It is totally op and enough to break the game in many ways and makes me feel like finally quitting.

Good tip for beginners, when he was left facing the VK and artie, watch how carefully he was driving to avoid destroying any building, fences etc which, for a good artie player, would give a clear indication on where he was, especially with so little HP left. Happy new year!

The gun combined with the armour and mobility means that the tank has basically everything that it needs to be perfect. The only downside is gun handling, and even that’s not awful.

I actually do not belong to any of the mentioned groups of commentators. I actually would like to praise the arty for not just killing itself but fighting back. I often either see artys kill themselves or hide away in a situation like this. But the arty did neither and decided to play for win/defeat instead of a draw. I'd have done the same thing and I'm not an arty player, only do it for the campaings mostly. But I really dislike people just giving up instead of fighting back. Ok, playing for a draw can be the right thing, but often you can try to fight. And if there's a chance to win, like the arty had here, you should grab it. If you haven't, like you have no ammo left and are a lightweight tank, well, go for the draw. But more often than not, fighting is right. (and hiding during the last few seconds while defending against attacks in that specific scenario is fighting for victory in my books)
I enetered in a batlr on my vk36.01H. Drove to thr batle zone. Placed my self in a corner, whit side armour at 70° angle. Bz shot me on the side, giving 95% damage of my hp, and caught fire to my engine. Burning me to death. The first shot first kill. In 2 seconds.

The OP tank, which when you can't over match the tank and they hide the lower plate is impossible to play against unless you can flank. Drove me to play SPGs to focus fire BZ176 tanks. See how they like it.
The T92 played well too with 3.5K damage and a clutch TD shot, both they and the STA-2 arguably deserved the win by doing so well in much less meta tanks and nearly had it taken away by that T30 and Tortoise.
It would be cool to bring it kind of back to the start. The reason you, and many, started playing WoT…the Tiger. A “master class” video on it would be awesome.
Tiger I in WoT... Play it as a TD. That thing won't bounce a thing but it's got a decent gun. It's been totally disgraced by Wargaming in this Russian game. But to be fair, people used the Tiger in real life all hidden and from a range, thanks to its superior main armament and armor that could reliably deflect shots from T34s and Shermans.
BZ-176 made one of the most fun and cool tiers unplayable. This tank needs to be nerfed hard because every match that has this tank is unplayable. Also WG be like: ,,OOOHHH NO! Kranvagn can work on hull down maps, we need to nerf it to a state where nobody, like literally nobody plays it anymore!" ,,BZ-176 completly destroying tier 8 matchmaking which was the main income with premium tanks? Seems balanced to me!" WG will just remain a clown until they nerf it.

i hate what WG are doing, the whole point of the new chinese heavy brance was the massive alpha, slow speed, decent gunhandling, and great armor yet really bad dpm (similar to the WZ-114). But no we decide that were gonna have another boring heavy with good armor, dpm and "good alpha dmg"...
I am not suprised that this vehicle is popular..its basically one of the only derp guns left in the game after WG destroyed other fun tanks like the KV2. Which makes it even more sad that the new tank line wont be having them as I feel like it requires atleast some amount of skill
I played T54 against noob BZ I farmed him into weakpoint somehow, after I killed him I raised my gun and rotated, and you guys who play this daily, you fully deserve it

I think Wargaming needs to rethink the way they introduce premium vehicles, especially those with new mechanics like this. Since it is difficult to balance them afterwards, these vehicles are becoming increasingly toxic. Introducing premium vehicles only after mechanics are tried and tested would be bad for business, but good for the game.
The thumbnail "Send in the clowns" reminds me of funny moments #4 when QB was in a Ferrari (EBR vehicle) on ABBY and he crashed into the river then covers his face with his hands saying the same thing, so funny!
Normally I really hate artillery, but in this game I can't thank the T92 enough. Taking out this beyond OP BZ-176 and denying him the win was really awesome. Because of the BZ-176 I now almost exclusively play low-tiers. And I am a decent player. But mid- and high tiers are no fun anymore, especially for me who likes to play lightly and medium armored vehicles. Really have no idea what WG was thinking by putting this tank in the game; a tank that claps harder than most tier X TDs and this at tier 8.
I don't get it. If they are removing the derps from the new Chinese heavies then at least remove the derp from the BZ-176 and instead give it a normal 600 alpha gun to make it the same as the others. A Hesh playstyle on a premium then a normal playstyle on the rest is really awkward when you try to play back to back with them. Also the derp is OP on the BZ of course.
I would be happy with the HE gone and real premium shells. It can be as garbage as on the Skoda, but still it would be so much enjoyable, because even against well-armored tier 9 tanks it struggles a lot.
Picture this... They don't want such a HE derp monstrosity for their tech tree vehicles, not even for the tier X, BUT they are COMPLETELY FINE with allowing this disgusting PoS in tier 8 matchmaking, meeting tier 7s and 6s at times. Nice meme.
the BZ-176 is just ridiculously OP 2 weeks into the holiday OPs and if the opposite team had 1 or more BZ-176 then our team the chat would just be like: "great another loss, good luck but we all know how this is going, **** WG and their ****** matchmaker!!" and it's was always 95% true result never had to run away from a tank before... only time i felt i had a chance was in my IS-2 sheilded where the HE round if hitting the net did no damage or if we were 3 or more tanks vs the BZ-176
This is a reminder I stop playing high tiers and only play tier 6 in Hong Kong server where I get to be +1/-1 match maker for it so is heaven for me (Apart from Artillery ....)

The other super OP thing about this tank, that nobody speaks about, is its view range. It outspots medium tanks that are 2 tiers higher. It's absolutely a ridiculous tank.

I feel like it's a bit of a misplay to not invite the STRV and the ABSOLUTE LEGEND Obj 261 to a platoon. They deserved a cheeky crucial contribution.

The main problem for me (yes OP as hell), that whis joke rocket tank can meet tier 6-7 tanks and eat them for breakfast.
I played T54 against noob BZ I farmed him into weakpoint somehow, after I killed him I raised my gun and rotated, and you guys who play this daily, you fully deserve it
This tank has completely ruined the matchmaking and will kill the game. Tier 8 which was a semi enjoyable tier to play at has become absolutely dreadful now.
People say that about every new OP tank. Look at Vipera. People said it's the worst thing WG released and now? It's boring to play and when you know it's weakness, easy to counter

I think Wargaming needs to rethink the way they introduce premium vehicles, especially those with new mechanics like this.
Since it is difficult to balance them afterwards, these vehicles are becoming increasingly toxic.
Introducing premium vehicles only after mechanics are tried and tested would be bad for business, but good for the game.
i was not expecting that end hahaha. he shouldve went a bit wider to the base to get more distance between him and the arty coming in

Over confidence is a killer the KZ was surprised that the T92 was charging him head on. The T92 had nothing to lose.
The thumbnail "Send in the clowns" reminds me of funny moments #4 when QB was in a Ferrari (EBR vehicle) on ABBY and he crashed into the river then covers his face with his hands saying the same thing, so funny!

Normally I really hate artillery, but in this game I can't thank the T92 enough. Taking out this beyond OP BZ-176 and denying him the win was really awesome.
Because of the BZ-176 I now almost exclusively play low-tiers. And I am a decent player. But mid- and high tiers are no fun anymore, especially for me who likes to play lightly and medium armored vehicles. Really have no idea what WG was thinking by putting this tank in the game; a tank that claps harder than most tier X TDs and this at tier 8.
I don't get it. If they are removing the derps from the new Chinese heavies then at least remove the derp from the BZ-176 and instead give it a normal 600 alpha gun to make it the same as the others. A Hesh playstyle on a premium then a normal playstyle on the rest is really awkward when you try to play back to back with them. Also the derp is OP on the BZ of course.
I would be happy with the HE gone and real premium shells. It can be as garbage as on the Skoda, but still it would be so much enjoyable, because even against well-armored tier 9 tanks it struggles a lot.
Picture this... They don't want such a HE derp monstrosity for their tech tree vehicles, not even for the tier X, BUT they are COMPLETELY FINE with allowing this disgusting PoS in tier 8 matchmaking, meeting tier 7s and 6s at times. Nice meme.
the BZ-176 is just ridiculously OP
2 weeks into the holiday OPs and if the opposite team had 1 or more BZ-176 then our team the chat would just be like:
"great another loss, good luck but we all know how this is going, **** WG and their ****** matchmaker!!"
and it's was always 95% true result
never had to run away from a tank before... only time i felt i had a chance was in my IS-2 sheilded where the HE round if hitting the net did no damage
or if we were 3 or more tanks vs the BZ-176

Just getting to tier 8 after not playing for awhile and now I have to deal with this tank. Fun. Been a nightmare going against it

This is a reminder I stop playing high tiers and only play tier 6 in Hong Kong server where I get to be +1/-1 match maker for it so is heaven for me (Apart from Artillery ....)

We just had a game with three of these BZ-176 things on enemy team, none on ours. I now desert any time there is more than on on either team.

The other super OP thing about this tank, that nobody speaks about, is its view range. It outspots medium tanks that are 2 tiers higher. It's absolutely a ridiculous tank.
