I like that looks and sounds a proper kick from the rifle and how it translates to a shakier/unstable firing instead of the laser-air-pops we've been used to from VG
The recoil is a bit excessive in semi auto. Needs about 20% less shake and 5-10% less muzzle climb. I own a G3 clone and its not as bad as the game portrays it. In full auto, yeah, pretty much any battle rifle is a monster to hold down.
a big classic gun is finally returned after a long while in the new MW , years after COD MW2004 (even if it wasn't technically the same G3 Variant) i dont know why but this almost made me cry
Just played my first matches yesterday and it definitely feels better paced in 6v6 than MW2019! Maps are definitely an improvement, even Museum has a better flow (still slow) than most MW2019 launch maps.
When I played the beta and got this gun I could not let go of it. The absolute monstrous sounds this thing made was intoxicating compared to the rest of the weapon's. Honestly wish they swapped some of the sounds from the MW2 Beta to MW(2019) as some of the MW gun sounds are pretty lack luster.
on that last map...the gas station roof top covers that entire water front area and is where I was sniping to get a few easy kills. Once the team moves eventually to that side I go to the opposite to run n gun through buildings. It is a fun game mode.
Hate how he press checks the rifle. Anybody that’s handle a G3 or G3 clone knows that the gun will not go into battery unless the the charging handle is released all the way from the rear.
I'm so glad they added the G3 but they fucked the reload up for roller guns big-time. Partial reloads only require a mag swap bringing the bolt back just ejects a live round...
@@Marvin-7726 I dont think that is a thing and if so sounds more so like a mag issue. This reload or the animation is like reloading a handgun mid magazine and then racking the slide for no reason. I get it, its a video game but this literally makes the reload longer making all of the roller guns now a worse choice that alternatives. The reload for Roller is already long lol and I live for the HK S L A P but this is a really dumb oversight.
@@Marvin-7726 I stand corrected, you are right about there being issue with loading a full mag into the MP5 but no issues for the G3. It was also a part of training as a safety precaution from what ive read but only issues loading a fresh mag into the MP5 because of little spring tension in the full mag.
I have an HK G3 (semi of course) and the bolt only needs to be charged if ru run the mag to zero since there is no last round hold open option. I would like to see the OP do a nice HK slap on that puppy since that is the best part of that forward operated bolt charging system. It is a pain to reload that way shown in game because you have to take the rifle off target to reach forward to grab that charging handle...which is spring loaded and flips forward when released

iirc, changing the mag without pulling the bolt for the old hk models would cause a feeding issue or something
