Akira is a troll character. Not that he’s purposefully ineffective or anything like that because he clearly isn’t, but anyone who picked up a Virtua Fighter game for the first time and saw this dude probably did the understandable thing and picked him up thinking he was the gateway to understanding the mechanics of these games.
The first time playing Akira is one hell of a life lesson for people who try out Virtua Fighter for the first time.... but man, when you finally figure it out, it’s beyond satisfying.
Akira is the only character I play in VF just because I like the fightin style of bajiquan. Also I think the 1 frame is just fun to do and satisfying. Once I masters it’s consistency I haven’t had as much fun with any other character in any game ever. Having challenging moves should definitely stay infighting games
Akira is THE MAN.

Man, the Teishi-Tsu Dantai. Hard to pull off, at least for me. Each time I see it in action, I chuckle. I know the command, but I wish I could pull it off.
Had to revisit this! Your Jacky demo video is my favorite. But, Akira is (to me) YOUR character and it shows.
The editing in this was sick
IMO, should have ended with the "Juu'nen hayain da yo!" instead of the "Ora ora ORA!" XD

Ahaha, some of these are mostly just for showcasing and not towards a tutorial or guaranteeds. I had plans to make a guaranteed one but unfortunately my laptop died around that time and lost all the files for it so I may have to record it all again one of these days.

Oh ok #1-you don't need an arcade stick to perform the one frame at an effect rate or level. #2- I know how to do the one frame on both dual stock controller and arcade stick. #3- I am DaYearOfDeGoat so subscribe to my channel if you want to see another great VF fighter in action. I use all of them and thanks for the reply.

Nevermind jus spam it and proceed to the next lol. Nice ass combos, so many things could go wrong you have to practice it and find a timing that will garuntee the combo success.
I found a few of these out the rest are like how the fuck u figure that out.

Com- PleX I can but at this point id rather play doax3 more use for the gravure and photo paradise mode. I'm more of a taken pleb with the electric wind godfists than exploding costumes.

Don't have a modded controller. And even if it were possible to have one, the patch that was first released with the game disabled those things.
DestructionBomb Well a normal logitech works on the ps3. I use a stick not hard for this game since it doesnt have a neutral.
+Pete HrapStick DestructionBomb I just assumed you were using an arcade stick. Doing 3 1-frame knees in a row with a pad, you must be a freak of nature. !_frame Knee and DLC are much easier on an arcade stick.
GoDokuNoDAN of course but in this game its too easy since the execution in this games for casuals.
I use Hitbox mostly, but occasionally pad due to movement.
