Especially because I see him as very socially awkward and a lot of his "too-cool" lack of responses to people are actually him trying to process everything going on around him and coming up blank. Nice to see an edit that goes more for that angle. Apt choices for your scenes, especially when you get to reverse the nuance by showing him with human connections despite what the lyrics claim. Perfect ending, his expression has such a, "huh, maybe I do," quality.

The tongue clicking parts of this song creep me out. Reminds me of that girl that got her head knocked off by the pole in that Hereditary movie. 😬
Although if the edit title says “No friends” , Cloud did have lots of help and assistance in his journey through Midgar and he dis have a lot of friends. Awesome edit btw!!!
More like Cloud is self-wallowing. Deep down he knows he is actually loved but I get it. Sometimes it's easier to lie and say you're alone in the world when you hit some seriously deep moments in life. But as PHX says, it could very well pass as Strife's anthem of sorts.
