Sir, YOU are a GOD. For the past two weeks, I've been struggling to remap my new G203 side buttons to use shift & command for my games without having GHub open. Logitech support kept saying "turn on onboard memory & select the profiile" -- no go; I still had to have GHub up & running. All my searches either turned up Windows users who said the same thing or Mac folks talking about other mice. Logitech support finally sent me to exchange my mouse at the store in case I'd just gotten one with a broken memory chip -- STILL no go. Finally, after a last ditch attempt to figure out what was going on, your vid finally popped up in my searches...and you not only didn't have onboard memory on, you closed GHub after assigning the keys.
Nooooo, it couldn't be THAT easy??
Yeah, it was THAT easy. I assigned the keys, closed GHub, and the new button assignments work perfectly without GHub on. You've saved me from pulling my hair out. One request, though: **could you maybe emphasize that the GHub "onboard memory" switch needs to be OFF?** It's so counter-intuitive, given what the confusing wording in GHub. I ran across lots of other Mac users who seemed to be struggling with the same issue, and a lot of the offered "solutions" involved third party software that didn't work in Ventura or various complicated steps that just aren't what Mac users are used to. Again, though, THANK YOU. Have a new subscriber! :D
