We would carch catfish and clean them like that, roast them over an open fire and put a bunch of butter on them and just pick the meat off the bones. I remember that like it was yesterday, one of my strongest childhood memories, it was 1966. 😊
When i was 11 years old me, my father and a friend of his went fishing with just our hands and a net where we stored the fish in a river in the alps in austria and we walked upstream and it is the strongest childhood memorie i have it was so fun climbing these mini waterfalls they where between 4 to 8 meters and it was so fun. The fish tasted so good and my dad showed me how to kill and make the fish. He also showed me how to catch the fish with ur hands and when i did it i was like " ew they are so slimy " my father and his friend where laughing so hard at my comment hahahaha
It is sexy when a man is resourceful like this!!!! 'm a vegetarian, so it's not like I would be eating the fish or turkey, but it's nice to know the men around you can do this. Like if shit goes down and there's no electricity or super markets, he can feed his family

You’ve never made a rocket stove? Usually you’d make another air hole on the side somewhere but it works pretty well.
